When I played mmo's in the early 2010's i would go 8-12 hours a day playing the same game. I don't do that any more now. 3ish hours usually then I stop to eat and do something else or switch to another game.

Depends on the game. I think the longest I've ever played a game in a single sitting was one of the Phoenix Wright games, for an entire 24 hours.

Its like any drug, you get to used to its effects the more you use it. I was so addicted to caffeine that I used to be incredibly tired until I had some. Even then, I felt functional rather than focused. I tried caffeine withdrawl and my fucking god was that awful but necessary.

Depends but I don't bother starting a game if I don't have at least one hour free. I can play for hours when launched though, I recently beat Shadow of Tomb Raider in essentially one sitting (clocked 14hours) with only small pauses for eating and cooming.
