I wouldn't say GTA III has aged like milk, per se.

It's still perfectly playable and even fun by today's standards, it's just very barebones and has been made pretty much completely obsolete by Vice City and San Andreas.

I've beaten it a few times in the past few years, it's not bad. I think part of it for me being different is I played it on a console and I think that improves it a bit in terms of feel. Driving with keyboard and mouse isn't as fun.

I’ve never been to an American city before, but the GTA games all feel like villages. I don’t know how accurate it is to the cities they’re based off of but even looking online, New York or LA doesn’t feel very big

KJAH is the best stoner shit ever. Head Radio has better radio songs than the actual music done for the mainstream audiences. Rave station is straight out fire if you are old enough to dance to that shit in real life. MSXFM is the best soundtrack to any video game ever made if you are into drum and bass proper. Opera radio is great to listen to and fits great with the italian mob theme. Flashback did the whole Vice City shtick right before rockstar decided to make a whole game on it. If you are into negro music you would probably like the rap station too.
It feels as cheap and campy as a daytime 80s movie. I'd rather prefer a silent character.
