if you want to be really hopeful, they haven't exactly denied that you can run ps1 or ps2 games on it. i doubt it happens but who knows.

Im going to wait for the ps5 pro or slim if the pro doesnt come out. Keeping my ps4 incase until then. Then when i buy the ps5 hack the ps4 and get all games free.

The industry should just finally accept that the AAA title development model is unsustainable and they should focus on making good games instead of fancy graphics. This means we don't need expensive consoles anymore either. Just play on PC and upgrade depending on the games you want and the level of graphics you want.

Most console players buy console because it's cheap, if money weren't a factor they'd buy PCs. So no-one will pay an extra 100 for a BD drive. All the normies at work have already said they'll buy the digital one because the extra cost is "two free games".
