This is the dumbest thing about P4's localization.
It's fucking retarded because it's not good localization nor faithful to the original. If you want to keep honorifics, you shouldn't insert new ones where they didn't even exist in the Japanese script, just because you don't want to have characters referring to each other by last name. You either go all out, or you don't and just stick with first names only without honorifics. This is just a half-assed compromise.
