I just cheat engined the max ammo upgrades and gave myself infinite ammo for the final missions and used the bigger guns sparingly. I get what they were trying to do but they went far enough giving each enemy a weakness to exploit with a weapon, you didn't have to reduce my ammo pool to like nothing to accomplish that.

yes you can upgrade ammo pool and that's the first thing you need to upgrade if you don't want to play a 2sec cutscene simulator

RE4 was one if those games that I did every to save as much ammo as possible. I found myself having too much at certain parts and dumped or sold some.

Same with the craftables in Alien Isolation. I was maxed out the entire game and ended with over 800 units of flame thrower fuel.

There's no need to hate people for having opinions that differ from your own. For me, having an actual reason to use things other than the SSG made the game a lot more enjoyable. I didn't have to "make my own fun" by using downgrades just for the hell of it like in 2016, the game was structured in a way that rewarded using all the tools you have available.

Try it in nightmare. You're invincible for the animation, sure, but you can and will get bopped the instant the animation ends if you aren't careful about how and when you're going for a glory kill.

Unironically 99 percent of the problems people may have with the Eternal gameplay can be fixed by gitting gud

You get health back from killing enemies, you don't need to glory kill them.
Glory kills leave you vulnerable for imps to throw fireballs at your location and you'll die from 2 to 3 hits, and of course, leaves you vulnerable for other attacks as well, not just imps
you have to be a casual shitter to always finish your enemies with glory kills

No, it really isn't. You get wrecked if you go for every glory kill that becomes available without thinking about it in Nightmare in Eternal.

bought this turd on launch and forced myself to finish it. i'd say it's a solid 7/10, nowhere near the hype that some braindead faggots assign to it. The last good FPS I played was Ion Maiden
