How technical is blazblue compared to guilty gear? I've never played it.

LITTLE VAMPIRE GIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSS

Both have shit netcode that render half the cast unplayable in most online situations even with lan. People who defend the netcode are cucks or mai mains who just mash c.

Fucking Christ does ANY fightan have good netcode?

Less. Not to a brain-dead degree or anything. But you can get away with being less precise than in GG.

usually an airdash i'd say. as in, an in the air dash forward not an 8-way

Theres only 4 buttons, light>Medium>Heavy>Drive
The game is more of a standard anime fighter compared to GG, but has a larger cast so theres more matchups to learn. Id say BB is slightly less technical overall but it does have its fair share of really hard to learn characters

The ones that do have nobody playing them

It's more about how they play. Usually air-dashing=anime.

no
but playing GG local is the closest thing to sex i've felt.

anime is one launch and then you dial a combo to death

normal is not that

>not playing locals only

Unfortunately online is all some people have, including me.
I know I'm essentially playing a fucked up version of the game but it's either that or fight cpus.
also it can still be fun

Air dashes and longer combos on the average

Almost forgot I played Granblue.

If online is all you have then skip this game. NONE of them have good netcode OR good pc ports.

Get them on sale and beat the story then drop it. The only japanese games I can think of with decent netcode is garou and samsho which literally hundreds of thousands of people are playing in mass on fightcade anyways. Japan is getting blown up for their shit netcode right now honestly.

Mostly just the obscure ones that some fan hacked their own netcode into.

>Japan is getting blown up for their shit netcode right now honestly.
Where?

i disagree, you are more likely to drop a launch combo (not counting DBFZ) than MP, cr.HK, SHORYUKEN

ToD is tag fighter territory
Anime have at the least 2-4 touch death depending on resources

blown up by the west maybe but that shit apparently works great in the japanese infrastructure, every japanese streamer I've seen playing Xrd consistently gets only 1 frame of input delay, for example.

>japanese netcode works in a place smaller than texas
no fucking shit

woah we are talking FG here not using our brains

Like GG it depends heavily on your character

And also like GG it is more setplay/mixup focused so if you don't want to spend your time 'in the lab' grinding shit play a different game

>I don't play fighters because of bad netcode
I'll give reasonable doubt to people who play offline which is an incredibly small amount of people compared to the online crowd but it just seems to me a ton of people who don't play fighters are the ones complaining the most.
Something tells me that when rollback becomes the norm, they'll just pass the buck to another insecurity

Generally anime fighters have airdashers and usually place a greater focus on setplay than neutral/basic gameplay

Does Gundam EXVS count? Pre-release open access starts in a few days.

People making excuses not to play fighting games? no way, never happened

Could be worse, better connection benefits everybody.
At least they're not demanding more casualization like Zig Forums does

you are going to miss your 1st normal cancel
GG has lots of set play and mixups as a result of that but normal cancel/special cancels/OD cancels/RC are just as, if not more important.

Put better netcode in the games and more people are likely to try them. A lot of people do go to offline scenes but not these days.

I don't want the game to be easier. I want it to not feel like I have to swish my hands through water to do each input online.

The EU crowd has it the worst.
I'm NA and while I might get some problematic connections, it's honestly not so terrible that I start blaming my losses on them too much

>It's the bad netcode

here we put in GGPO

>It's unbalanced

Here's a game with 2 characters

>There's not enough characters

here's 150 characters

>The game has less than 50,000 people online at a time, so it's dead

F2P with gacha elements

>My AC makes it cold so I can't concentrate

I've given up talking to people about this, they want to blame everything but themself, if a fucking south american netplay warrior can take capcom cup and the best C. viper player in the world played online with a fucking Dualshock 3, these people can do it

Why can't Under-Night and Akatsuki Blitzkampf be in the same universe? Who says my comfy dark urban fantasy can't exist at the same time as my cold, dark ultra-militaristic dystopia?
Who says Kanzakai can't just be a single well-off city in a craphole world where everyone is a clone, a bodyjack target or both?

No, only games with decent netcode (rollback) out right now are Skullgirls, Power Rangers, Fighting Herds, and Fightcade and Melty Blood I guess. No one plays the former 3 tho and people aren't just going to give out their IP here. I can't be assed to play GBVS or DBFZ in 6 frame delay and UNIST is horrible as well.

Ft3 me, akatfag

people want to play a niche genre, but dont want to look for matches. i really dont get those people

The only fighter you can legitimately complain about is GGAC+R, which is ACTUALLY unplayable

Give me another Fist of the North Star fighting game.

Are you in EU
