There's no reason for them to do a dedicated console anymore. We are reaching diminishing returns. The Switch 2 (another handheld) will probably be 2.5-3 tflops. At that level they can already do 1440p. The difference between 1440p and 4k is too negligible for any reasonable person to care. They will have enough textures to make everything look realistic if they want to. The CPU power to put as much shit as they want on the screen.

The advantage to going home console over mobile for them would be pretty much non-existent, especially because of the types of games they make.
