Good, huntress is by far the best of the starter characters. Robot and Bullet are amazing though, look up how to unlock them if you haven't already

Technically the gunslinger is best, but out of the original characters definitely huntress. She makes the first two floors a breeze.

His stuff is very situational
>mostly gonna use lockpicks at the end of floors to open chests that you don't have the keys for, and will have no enemies left to recharge them
>Lower prices only matter in those "1 coin short" scenarios on the earlier floors

the extra slot is nice I got nothing on that except that i dont use actives too often but that's personal preference
The huntress is just much better, the dog is occasional free stuff that can really help, antimimic and good guns for the early floors

Aint no walls or cover in the Rat fight, and items are inconsistent. Completely ignoring certain classes of enemy really changes the tenor of many rooms, as well. Plus tackling things to death with the damaging dodgeroll is a hoot.

You wouldn't qualify the bit where his mech sends out a torrent of bullets with empty circles you need to dodge-roll to as "bullet hell?" Obstacles made of bullets is pretty definitionally bullet hell.

Hell no, that's an easily understandable pattern. There are at least three spots where you can dodge easily with almost 100% guarantee of going away hitless, in two of them you can shoot too.
I'd rather call bullet-hell other bosses, such as the mage, or the dragun if you let his daggers live. Rat is really not that hard bro.
