I have 150 hours played and will probably play it again pretty soon.

After 9 playthroughs I can safely say that outside of the bosses the game isn't very challenging and I dont enjoy the soundtrack at all
But the bosses are amazing and keep bringing me back

I honestly don't like the map and vertical exploration. My first time playing through I completely missed obvious NPCs that are just out in the open and spent a lot of time wandering around aimlessly because I missed entire paths and did shit very out of order.

That goes for every Souls game pretty much. Running by every enemy just to get to the bosses has been possible since DeS. I think the issue is less egregious in Sekiro because of mini-bosses, and because there are far more things to do besides running by enemies or R1 spamming them to death. You can still do that, which is a flaw, but at least now you have a whole heap of ninja gadgets to fuck around with. Unlike in other FS games where I just want to run past everything, I always kill every enemy I encounter in Sekiro because there are so many ways to kill them.

I know a guy with 1000+hrs on assfaggots but he can't even win a match against the CPU in AoE 2. The same guy has a gazillion hours in CS:GO but when we played Halo 2 in co-op he kept doing dumb shit. Not even speedrunning will make you a god at your favorite genre, high level stuff is too specialized and relies on muscle memory over skill.

I think the only fun boss fights I've had were with the Isshins. I remember really enjoying the Genichiro fight, then being really disappointed about Corrupted Monk.

Based. After playing for a long while on ng+s you start to appreciate everything. Even bosses like the blazing bull reveal themselves to be super complex once they recieve the stat boosts. The blazing bull ends up being a more mechanically complex version of darkeater midir. The ape shows itself to be really well designed too which is something i never really thought i would enjoy.
I just love the feel of the gameplay and even snoozefests like the two move monk is fun to play against.
