Botw Link's alts are fucking garbage.
Why is Fierce deity so fucking bootleg looking?
It was literally an outfit in the game, but in smash it's a shitty from scratch approximation.
He could have had amazing alts, heck, I'm surprised we didn't get an clothesless version like Shulk.
We could have gotten NES Link, OoT Link, TP Link, and SS Link alts.
All of those were in the game.
We only got one alt type, and it's the shitty yodeler shorts.

FE apologists/fans that actually believe there's a rational number of FE characters on the roster that are different enough from eachother that nobody should complain about them

Why does Nintendo insist on making Smash have the lowest age rating in Japan?
In America, you can have swearing and tiddy and still come off with a E10, why don't they just let the man add his highly detailed panties to the characters?
And why are they absent from the Amiibo?
There's no age rating on that shit, is there?

Smash in general REALLY misses out on cheap DLC character costumes. Just sell a costume along with a recolor of that costume for 75 cents.

I'd rather we get quality representation instead of quantity.

The fact that gamemodes are practically omitted from being played online in the newest entry of the series. I don't understand how a multiplayer centered game does this.

It's weird because DK's mannerisms in the K Rool/Banjo reveals were pretty spot on (for a short trailer at least), yet none of that is present in-game at all.

I hate how most non-major series that most Smash players haven't played get totally shafted in regards to content. Pikmin in particular gets reduced to le wholesome garden sim with haha funny carrot spaceman protagonist, with the music being equally shitty.

That, and the fact we have 8 Fire Emblem characters and not a single Advance Wars character or even music track

I hate how DK and Bowser are pretty much generic monsters instead of being based more on their actual games. Imagine, DK could have had his Kirkhope voice in 64 but Sakurai for some reason decided he needed to have generic monster roars. Not even gorilla sounds.
A lot of pre-Brawl characters feel like they suffer from not being added later when Sakurai became a lot more respectful of the series characters come from.
I hate how only Olimar and Alph (the LEAST interesting non-Olimar character in the series) are playable when it would be a really easy model swap to have every playable character as alts.

The Sm4sh menus are particularly fucking awful. His wife cannot design menus at all and she most not have any UI experience.

The problem is Fates also include Revelations and Birthright, so most people think of those 2 cause 2/3 of the games are bad

Awakening was the game that basically saved the series tho.

My problem at this point is that Ganondorf is also my favorite character for his movesete. Especially in Melee and to a lesser extent in Ultimate. His hits have so much power behind them, everything is like getting hit by a bus. The Thunder Drop is the most satisfying meteor in the game. The Volcano Kick is just ridiculous, and actually getting a Ganon Punch in will make your dick hard. I would hate to lose all that fun for the sake of an accurate moveset, and I'm a Zelda autist.
I'd be content with moving Ganondorf's kit over to another character (Black Falcon as fighter 11e would be fine) and making him "Zelda accurate" though.

to be fair with Isabelle, how would you translate that voice into smash without it sounding awkward? I hardly think the animal crossing gibberish would sound normal if they to do grunts or yells with it

I think corrin is a worse character than robin but their game is better than robin's, and on second thought I really do just agree corrin doesn't really need to be there since their character and moveset is just blah
ye that's true, but for fans of the series before that it was kind of a mess gameplay wise

I prefer heavies. I always have and Ultimate is the first time they've been somewhat viable.

I hate how when a character is added to the game their moveset is set in stone and will never ever see any major changes. There are characters who desperately need total overhauls and will never get them because of this autism.

In an alternate history where Rare hadn't been bought Microsoft Banjo would have been in by Brawl.
