Hopes and expectations for Horizon Forbidden West?
>More interactive world
>Human combat doesn't suck balls
>All RPG elements don't suck balls
>Characters that aren't the main character not looking like they were made at a college game jam
>Not all cool parts of the story be lore stuff
>Better melee combat
If there is underwater combat, then that it's good. And that the human AI's improved now that they seem to be pairing them up with the machines.
>Expectations
It will be shit and a boring re-skinned ubisoft game just like the first.
>Hopes
Ashley Burch learns how to voice act in a way that doesn't sound like the director only gave her the direction of "sound determined"
They stop having the main character talk every fucking second
It stops being a lame ubisoft reskin
I only wanted a new protagonist. feels bad man
Watch it come out when Botw2 comes out and gets completely overshadowed again.
So how long do you think it'll be until it's out?
Back in 2018 Guerilla expanded to 400 people to make games faster
eurogamer.net
It's already been 3 years since the first game
Justice prevails
They said 2021 in the video. Probably a pre E3 date, or late summer if they somehow get slowed down again with covid
They also got some people who worked on Rainbow Six to work on an unannounced project
They're probably big enough to work on two projects simultaneously like Insomniac so I guess Killzone is on the table as well
Better facial animation
For the love of all that is right in the world better facial animation
trannies will praise it as the best game ever
that's about it
But Aloy isn't trans
What do paleofags think of the designs?
I really hope the combat with large creatures becomes more of a challenge. Once you get a bit into the game it becomes very easy to abuse the gameplay hooks and straight murder everything. Stealth for human combat was severely lacking.
Combining robots
what were you hoping for? the black guy from fringe?
Anything is better than aloy
A PC release
Hell yeah bro
I can tell you played the first one
They really need to get away from
The cookie cutter formula
I didn’t blame them for the first game since this was Guerrillas first open world game on top of it being a new IP
But now there’s no excuse
>But now there’s no excuse
I guess the excuse now will be the tremendous sucess botw had. I expect many similarities between the two
Why did you type like that
>Get overshadowed by BotW 2
>Get overshadowed by Halo Infinite
Control every fucking robot dinosaur you meet. I was pissed that I couldn't ride the mecha godzillas around and have a kaiju battle. They need to fix that shit. Fuck your bow and arrows.
This. The only major issue I had with the first game.
But user
All vidya females are archers now
The emphasis on swimming kinda worries me. I'm not a fan of underwater sections in games and I'm definitely not a fan of underwater combat. Maybe they'll get it to work well, but I'm not holding my breath.
Pretty much this
Different hairstyles for Aloy.
She looks dumb as fuck thanks to that hairdo she has in the first game and in the promo material for the sequel.
I want to ride a fucking mecha dolphin. And ride more robots in general.
>Zion National Park
>Pacific Northwest expansion
>The emphasis on swimming
It looks like its one section?
Never touched the first one, looked like generic ubishit and heard it had a shitty woke story. How accurate is this? New one has a cooler aesthetic imo but I just like tropical environments
It's going to be a gimmick won't it?
