rf is still busted, all spells are turbo busted, you can get 6k life+ and make it to red on a fucking 5 link with a mediocre wand because the damage scales well.
The content is alright, but if they don't release regularly, they die. That being said, nothing the last few leagues was terribly interesting and old mechanics often get left in the dust. Delve and betrayal were the last two great ones.

I've played plenty of top end zoom zoom builds, and plenty of slower builds as well. As long as you're having fun playing the build you're golden.
Stop concerning yourself with what others are doing in what is mostly a single player game.

I'm just burnt out after 4-5k hours into this game. The game has also only been going downhill after Legacy League anyways. Might play again when 2.0 drops but untill then I try a few hours a league to see if it grabs me and when it fails to I just go back to playing Median XL instead.

It's integrated into the game to some extent as random encounters, masters, items/modifiers that force the mechanic, or specific maps.

no, its all about using the right gear and wichever skill happends to be meta during that patch

not hard at all, trading is the lifeblood of this game, you cannot play properly without it, anyone that says you can progress fine without trading with others is a desilutional retard, that's why Solo self found is so shit, because the droprates were never ment to be adjusted for singleplayer at all, if you think like a jew, you'll like this game

however if you want an actual decent ARPG experience, play grim dawn instead, or titan quest if you don't mind anything old, then again if that's the case just play D2 and forget about the rest, no game in this genre still manages to get close to it

Depends on what your playing, but quick reflexes and potion management can be incredibly important. My friend panics too much and drains his pots and rips his HC character a lot because of it. As for part 2, I was making roughly $500 in currency a day back in Legacy League, dunno what its like today though.

Potion management isn't skill, I've done that in ROTMG for years.
Also 500 freedom bucks a day sounds nice, I might play just for that alone

Another thing too is that defensive mechanics are sort of on the weaker side relative to how much damage t15+ can do to you (unless its horribly overtuned or you have mirror gear/aura bot). Melee playstyles have nothing going for them that other builds can't also abuse, but melee as well has to usually be close/in animations longer than ranged/spell/whatever. If they had something on the passive tree for example other people would path to it, or run marauder and a ranged build. For whatever reason they haven't nerfed shit like mind over matter either, despite it being a free 30% ehp (marauder-duelest has nothing even close to this despite being the classes that need it the most) when you get your mana/ww/eb eshield build in check
