You speak as if the empire were the bad guys. Star Wars, like Star Trek is NWO propaganda and always was, therefore things are turned upside down. In original Star Trek the Klingons were the good guys minding their own business until the Merchantilist Federation of Planets sent their military pigs (USS Enterprise) to bomb their temples.
