Also, Beyond Blue and Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster. Doom Eternal once I've wrapped up the others.

Very based thread, i'm playing Sekiro for the 20th time. This time with mods.

I like it a lot so far, just got to WoR, however I don’t see how people always call it the best Final Fantasy. It’s top 5 for sure but, not as good as 4,7, or 9.

4 is my personal favourite, then it would be 6, followed by 9.

Really want to try this but don't want to spend 55 quid on a video game series I know nothing about.
Any chance you can give me a quick review, I'll be eternally grateful

Was I the only one that just really didn't see the appeal for TLOU1? I honestly didn't care for it 7 years ago.

Nioh 2?

Drakengard, I don't know who thought the whole weapon collection grind was a good idea

Yeah Nioh 2.
I have a friend insisting I should get it but this is the guy who recommended me DS1 then begged me to help him beat Gwyn as a phantom after a week. Not sure I trust his opinions on """soulslikes"""

correction: i just got to hell's kitchen after hong kong
i heard this game picks up at that point and it is not a lie

Monster Hunter GU

I'm late to the party and playing TLOU1. Beat the game and now I'm doing Ellie's mall adventure. It's great.

4 is my favorite too, it has some of the best party members, and Cecil and Kain are my favorite characters in the series so much soul

From a purely mechanical standpoint, Nioh 2 is improved from the first. Combat feels tighter, owing mainly to your ability to switch between stances.

You could do so in the first game, but there was an odd stiffness to it unless you mastered the Ki pulse. Nioh 2 is much more relaxed, making transitions smooth.

All the weapons have their own feel to them, and each comes with their own unique move sets, which you can customise and upgrade to suit your playstyle.

Level design is fantastic. All the levels make sense in how they're structured out and the shorts cuts are well played.

The game's difficulty is well balanced, challenging without feeling cheap or unfair.

You can also create your character. Just remember to watch your ki and find a flow of combat that suits you.

Persona 4 Golden got released just as I was getting the urge to revisit Inaba.
Also Pokemon White 2

Better than Cold Steel so far

Started a new playtrough in Pokemon Heart Gold. Picked Totodile as my starter. Might transfer over a Chimchar from my Platinum game. I like Infernape.
