I was honestly expecting it to be more arcade-y like Battlefront. I cannot believe the depth they were talking about, it sounds more like an oldschool flight sim. Being able to redirect power from your weapons to engines or shields, or boosting specific sections of shields; cutting the engines so you can pull maneuvers in the game. Sounds great.
I was honestly expecting it to be more arcade-y like Battlefront. I cannot believe the depth they were talking about...
>expecting actual depth from a console game
temper your expectations
>cutting the engines for maneuvers
>in space
>star wars
>caring a single bit about physics
Retard
It's honestly just as hardcore of a simulation as tie fighter and x wing based on those features alone. Incredible, and you can play the whole game in VR? I don't want to get excited, but I'm definitely very interested, speaking as someone who has put hours into the x-wing/tie fighter series. Now we just need confirmation that the campaign will be longer than 3-4 hours.
It really does look like the definitive Star Wars pilot game. The drawings the guy showed at the beginning just prove it's being made with love.
>SP and MP
>objective based gameplay
>cross-play on every platform
>entire game is playable in VR
>VR and pancake screen players can play together
Not a single thing to find fault in.
>hurr derp
Why do you PCfags always try to start shit?
are you even trying
you really think it's going to be at all complex when console players will have 8 buttons total?
>MY 10 BUTTON INPUT DEVICE CAN TOTALLY HANDLE A SIM
Fuckoff shill
Too obvious.
shills really going for it, huh
Watch out guys. We got a Zig Forumsadass over here.
u mad bro?
This is such an obvious "trying to fit in" shill post.
>Shills can't talk like human beings the thread number 2212
u mad bro?
>just as hardcore as x-wing and tie fighter
It's got more depth than the usual EA game, but c'mon on now.
The colorful background is a little bit of a turn-off, honestly. But it still looks fun and, honestly, I just want to fly around in a TIE Fighter in VR, that's all. Looks fun, and I guess it's not a full-priced game (though I think it should be cheaper).
The desperation to find something to be upset about is on another level
Yeah. He's hella mad. That or he's paid to call fans shills
guess that one user the other day was right
Honestly it looks like fun, I'll be sure to buy it fellow anonymous user!
>Hella
Did you forget you're not on twitter anymore?
Mildly interested. Pretty disappointed about it being 5v5 or 5v5+AI. Would have greatly preferred giant space battles.
u mad bro?
He thinks he'll get Sith powers if he's a big enough baby
I agree with you but I also view the backgrounds as a necessary evil to properly keep yourself oriented during the fast sections of gameplay
>Sound
>In space

Is this a new Russian shitpost bot? It's shit
All by me
Honestly the old games worked better with smaller numbers of enemies. The long ass missions (15-30 minutes sometimes) combined with the difficulty made large battles a nightmare since you would have to restart the entire thing.
Nooice!
I suppose so, I just hope you can drift in this game (I thought I saw it, but I wasn't sure if that was just a maneuver or something). House of the Dying Sun had some of the best combat, so I'd hope for something like that.
I hate that the cockpits and stuff look real good.
Though the support ships look like the most uninspired garbage I ever did see.
Because they both came from Rogue One
Sound doesn't travel through space, retard
