using a gyro as a point only works if it's for a short period, e.g. selecting where to teleport to in splatoon. a pointer being always on the screen controlled by gyro is very distracting, i don't think they'd do it again after captain toad

To be fair though, it just looks like a heavily compressed image in general, all the edges look like that, even the logo (which assuming this is edited from a screenshot from the Wii version, shouldn't have any artifacting around the edges).

Title screen only has current year on it (2020). If it were an enhanced port or remake it would have 2020 and the original release year (2007). If it were a straight port, it would only have 2007. Example in pic

yeah that's my point, and it was a retarded solution in that game, so i doubt they're do it again. even having something like you have to hold the Y button to be able to move the pointer with gyro would make it feel better.
