>just splurge bought a bunch of things for my pc
>over 1k
>dont own a car and have been saving for years
>feel sick now
any anons do this?
Just splurge bought a bunch of things for my pc
user I feel sick when I realise I could have saved $2 off a chinkshit purchase
This was an awful decision. Cancel every order, whatever you bought today will be obsolete by the end of the year.
my pc right now is a toaster, plus it's already been a couple of days for most of it
don't listen to this user.
you've got urges out of your system by submitting to them. if you cancel your order, you'll just want to buy them again in the future.
take this as a learning experience. you'll do better and save even more in th future
>you've got urges out of your system by submitting to them. if you cancel your order, you'll just want to buy them again in the future.
except than in this case just waiting three more months for next gen nvidia cards would make a massive difference in performance and price. buying GPUs right now is retarded
>tfw bought my first car for $15k in cash
Feels good to be able to anywhere I want.
The key to eliminating the problem is to cut off the source of your worldly desires. As soon as you fundamentally understand that buying new shit isn't going to make you any happier or more fulfilled than chipping away at your backlog and making do with your existing hardware, you begin a long journey towards acceptance and surrender, culminating in fulfillment. The financial boon you'll get from not consooming is just the icing on the cake.
>Had my learner's license for 2 years and still haven't completed the mandatory 100 hours of driving experience with an experienced driver
If I had the ability to drive it by myself I would definitely take a car over a PC at this point but right now that money would just be going towards paying for driving lessons because my parents can't teach me.
Public transport takes me where I want to go anyway. Owning a car is not a necessity just a convenience. Gaming relaxes me and is a fun hobby
Buy a used car, you can get them for less than a gaming PC.
With a car you can go anywhere.
don't do this btw, better to just make payments to build credit, and you have extra cash on hand in case of an emergency
Pretty sure you could still return most of it. Get the fucking car and start your life already. Getting pc parts shouldnt even be on your mind if you dont have a car. Dont listen to the losers encouraging you. Grow up and get the car. Considering youve been saving for years i imagine you are work retail. Getting a decent car will bring new jobs. Hell my first car was 7k and it lasted me a long ass time.
>XFX
yes but not to that level
explain?
The XT has shit drivers from what I've heard and you don't need to spend $1000+ on your PC unless you're a mentally ill fag who thinks 144hz is the way to go.
what should i get to run red dead redemption 2 at high settings that is currently available at a not incredibly hiked up price because what i bought was it for me
Lucky fuck. I hate driving. I wish public transportation in my area wasn't ass.
Sorry bro but a car would've been a far smarter option- assuming you live somewhere without good public transportation. Cancel it and buy a shitty used one that'll take you places, a job mainly.
2 of my 3 video cards in the last 10 years were XFX Radeon cards because they were cheap options, and both ended up being shit in both hardware lifespan and driver stability
>buying pc parts now of all times
i know this gets thrown around a lot but you should really wait for 2 or 3 more months before buying anything. you did a pretty big stupid OP
I just bought a truck for 1.5k USD after talking the dude down from 2.3k. I did an ignition tune-up and front brake pads. I'm good to go. Came out a bit under 2.3k total after parts and that's actually including insurance as well.
I just fucking went for it. It helps to have someone you know who can help with advice from time to time, but car groups/forums are a diamond dozen.
I even had a mechanic shop check it out, and it's basically just got a couple minor leaks now.
You should really start to drive. I didn't until I was looking 22-23, but it changed my life. I'm still very much a shut-in. But now I can be a shut-in from the freedom of a car. Just don't miss/put off any maintenance.
>he thinks 1k for pc parts is a lot
>bought amd
uh oh stinky
I was thinking of building a new pc but I don't know if right now is the right time to buy.
Truly enlightened, user.
LMAO you need more than over 1k for a card buddy
I agree that op dun goofed, but not because of prices. Isn't there going to be a shortage because of covid? I'm expecting prices for everything to get completely fucked come the Fall.
*car
I have about 10kusd+ saved and more coming, my car is worth 1,500usd. All the electronics and shit i buy and stuff I'm subscribed to is worth more than my 2001 honda lol. At least I don't have a car payment.
You ever see a thread that talks about the same life issues you've dealt with, same mentality, and even the exact same products?
it's not and hasn't been a for a couple years. parts are too goddamn overpriced and competition is stagnant and lazy
You were supposed to wait OP...
under current world events it makes no sense to get a car really, and even without them it's best to get a electric motorcycle, assuming you're a lonely loser.
well what DID you get OP? that's why you made this thread isn't it
b550 mobos just came out, new nvidia gpus in august, new ryzen cpus by end of year.
Additionally stock and prices are currently fucked by covid
