Heartgold but after Milktank I lost all interest and haven't picked it up since it came out.

I spent 400+ hrs trading up through generations, breeding and training over 50 different pokemon to get ready for the switch games.

All that time preparing, and they just show me the door. Well, I'll just fuck off then, I guess. I quit. Even if they bring it back, I wont care. If I really get an itch Ill download a rom or play showdown or something, but not likely at this point.

I'm still surprised by how good this game actually was. It really came off as a throw-away spinoff they made because "fuck it", but it's so good. I put in just over 100 hours.

But gamefreak was struggling to fit ONE region into the cartridge. They were only able to fit two in because Iwata crunched their shit code into a working form. I believe he also rewrote the battle code from scratch for Pokemon Stadium, and ended up fixing some issues that Red and Blue had originally

I really wish Capcom would take more risks with their IPs, MonHun Stories was the most fun I'd had with the franchise since 3U

Black. Best decision they ever made was making the main game have only new Pokemon, made it feel much more fresh to play.

Some of the signs seem like loyalist stuff, especially the "gifts not products," but I don't think I've seen anyone outright say criticism is toxicity. I've seen many people try to say it indirectly though.

the last gen where game freak actually put effort. shame that they didn't kept the whole alien thing in gen 6, such a nice concept

Is the SnS DLC any good? The base game was so meh I never even bothered with the postgame.

Without doing a nuzlocke white 2, otherwise I think Nuzlocke is the only way pokemon games aren't way too mediocre

Didn't play the game myself, but from a friend it sounds like this is basically what the post game should have been, and they're just selling it to you at an extra cost now.

I sunk 80 hours into Black 2 last year.
Honestly, after that game the series should just end. It is the best the series has ever been, and it will never be that good again.

The last ones I really liked were black and white 2 but gold and silver will always be the best. Still fun doing off the hip playthroughs of red and blue though.
