I dont think it could have been a more run of the mill SRPG if it tried.

Isn't this the one where you can get the main baddie pregnant?

Kid icarus and project x zone imo

I just started this and really like the characters. Any tips?
I still find it hard to believe that the studio went out of business.

yes

Speaking of generic/run of the mill...

what is Saber doing there?

I played the demo to 1 of these and I honestly can't remember which it was because they all look the fucking same. In any case it was so slow and boring (fuck srpgs) I quit out of the demo before finishing the first battle.

They're just excuses to make new SaGa games, something I didn't know I wanted until I already had them.

Has some crappy gimmick songs that use gyro and shit, but the majority are normal button pressing and extremely fun. Story is just Professor Layton-lite. Ends in a cliffhanger but the story is nothing special. The Space Channel 5 and Samba de Amigo levels are based as fuck.

Speed is king because it decides turn order.

This fucking game is underrated. I initially bought a 3DS just for this game.

Fucking this
What were they thinking brining over a game about singing and a heavy focus on songs and make it English dub only?

The songs are all in japanese so that's a weird point to make.

That's exactly my problem with it though. 1 moment your hear all these nice songs in Japanese and then you suddenly have to switch to that god awful dub.
I'd rather have them do everything in English or everything in Japanese but not this unholy combination. But they obviously couldn't do that as English VAs are talent less hacks and hollywood rejects.

Very related

I know this one was pretty widely hated but I adored it. I've written entire essays on my autistic enjoyment of both this and, I really hope the ports did well so they'll make more.

I want to play Stella Glow so bad, but I don't dare hack my 3DS, and the dub is so inhumanely atrocious. God damn the soundtrack is good.

wish the dungeons in this were a little more interesting, but many characters meeting the big enemies at the same time was pretty fun. Also, god damn this is a mean game. Lose power? Good bye all equipment.

Do they still make 3DS games

This one's good, I love the music. Reused a bit too much from the PSP games and the difficulty's low, but it's enjoyable enough that it powers through.
Wish the series wasn't over, I'd love another one now that they're open to localizing them officially, lolifucking and all.

Now there's a solid 3DS game you don't hear to much about. Its kind of the Metroid 2 of jrpgs in that you set out to eliminate a certain amount of a certain type of monster. You don't really feel the "sting" or filler/grinding random battles because many of them are directly progressing your goal. Also the soundtrack was top tier.

my niggers. I agree with all you said.
I DO have a hacked Vita. Should I play 2020 and 2020-II?

Is it actually good?

>mfw I didn't see any random battles at all because I solely fought dragons until I was about to challenge the Death March
It was weird trying them out and seeing that the dragon-level electric jellies from the Duelist's skills were random monsters.

Yeah, play them. They're somewhat harder than VFD but also not terribly difficult. One of them has Hatsune Miku in it.
Play the DS one too.
