Literally after anything you have to load shit, and it's not 10 second load times, not even 20, fuck I would take 30 second load times. Fucking it's 40s-1 minute loading times.'

Not him, but it depends on the person's PS3. If you haven't done a defrag in a long time through the recovery menu then it's going to be slow as shit.

I just want to play my physical PS1, PS2 and PS3 shit on my PS4. PS5s gonna be making the same mistake too, should at least included the option on the disc slot version of the console if they're going to be charging around $100 more

I'm running it off a disc. And you're freaking lying, the load times are brutal. Were PS3 load times always like this? I'm playing on Switch these days and cartridges are faster

If you're playing through disc then it's loading half from a 5400rpm Sata 2 HDD and half from a 2x speed Blu-ray. Of course it's gonna be slow.

I remember reading that wouldn't solve anything because SSDs are limited by SATA2 connector anyways. So you buy an SSD even though you're bottlenecked

I have yet to buy a 1TB internal HDD for my CFW Slim PS3. Running on 160GB right now.

You won't get the full Sata 3 speed out of an SSD but nand chips are still multiple times faster than a 5400rpm drive. Instant access times are a big deal.

I mean space isn't a problem when PS3 has no games.
