I think it’s fun.
The oneshotty gameplay of CS GO is kind of dumb, especially with RNG sprays in this game, but I really like the abilities.
Mu favorite is Cypher, his tripwires are fun and allow for great control of the map, and his camera allows you to see literally everything and avoid getting caught off guard and one shotted.

because counterstrike was a game before the competitive scene, valorant was designed viewing only tournaments and not any of the things that made OG CS the fun game it was

I am having fun with it because i think CSGO has become a complete bloat of a game and Overwatch is just shooting at shields all day but it really has some issues

All these characters are really, really bland. Most of them just get called by their Overwatch counterparts online because of how much of a rip off they seem. Chinese girl who puts up an Ice Wall. Edgy hooded guy who teleports. Their designs really fall short overall.

Honestly, some of these are nuts and OP. Most of the time they are absolutely useless it feels. I do like that you have to buy charges of your abilities though, think thats neat.

I dont know why but the main menu music and loading music is top tier. Its great but it all stops once the game starts. While I understand turning it off for the actual map, having SOME sounds during the buy phase will give the game more character. Look at Overwatch and the pre-round phase with the music swelling up and all that stuff. I feel like the game is too quiet in a negative way

What they do good
>Visual clarity. I can see enemies easily, I can see what I am shooting at, nothing is a blur. While having enemies highlighted red might ruin some stealth tactics like hiding in a dark spot (ruined gears for me, i used to hide in the shadows all the time in gears 1 but in the sequels you glow red) the game is just visually easy on the eyes

At no point is using an ability a better move than just shooting and hoping you get a random headshot

As with everything, there's exceptions but in general people playing CSGO were just people that used to play CS back in the day and just orbited towards the re-releases of the franchise.
