You're always laughing at us console-bros for having "no games", but what exclusives does the PC have? I recently saw the PC Gaming Show and most of it was indie-shit and shovelware garbage. Not even trying to hate, but genuinely curious.

This releases in 2 days. No idea why they didn't show that. Would have turned heads for sure.
pc has some exclusives, but the main point has always been that it is almost always the best experience for any multiplat with more opportunities to get games much cheaper. if a game is on both pc and ps4, pc is the better choice almost always. thus, consoles have to justify their existence with games that cannot be played on pc, while pc doesn't need that as badly
Agreed. PC Gaming show is still embarrassing though.
>that it is almost always the best experience for any multiplat
Frankly, no. Too many caveats on PC such as not being allowed to own games, everything being rentals, etc. If your retort is piracy, you have no argument.
>get games much cheaper
Digital games go on sale for much more than used physical games.
it's just shooting gallery for the odyssey.
Consoles have flavor of the month stuff that has been done better by other games already on PC.
Rehashes and clones don't interest me when I have a back log of 300 games that run at 4k and don't stutter. Also controllers are dogshit input devices and I'm not paying another $10 a month to use my internet just out of principal.
>not being allowed to own games, everything being rentals, etc.
the lack of physical media is annoying, but PCs have much more open system architecture that makes it insanely easy to make backups of the game files that are installed on your computer. most consoles have closed operating systems, and that level of file exploration and backing up/archival of games is only possible once someone finds a homebrew exploit. even then, there's no guarantee that, if you were to transfer the backup of that console game to the next generation console, it would even be compatible, meanwhile over on pc it's not hard at all to play a backup of a game from the late 90s on a modern system.
you don't need to justify your love of tranny sex scenes, OP. you're among faggots here.
wtf bro, I turbo torrent every fucking thing.
What you have? The Last Gay in Us?
I guess you thought the rehashes on console weren't embarrassing?
>it's just shooting gallery for the odyssey.
>backup of a game from the late 90s on a modern system.
Another issue with PC gaming is old games requiring fixes that never restore games to their original intended state, only half-done solutions that may make the game work for a period in time and often without the true intention preserved.
Bloodborne
Persona 5 Royal
>If your retort is piracy, you have no argument.
DRM free games. Also you don't even own access to your own console, sony microsoft and nintendo can take a console offline permanently if you violate TOS, and then muh used console market has banned consoles circulating through it.
And if that sounds implausible to you, then so do most cases of PC games being "rentals."
>Digital games go on sale for much more than used physical games
Where? Not in chains like gamestop, and not in mom and pop stores that have thin profit margins to begin with.
>it's just shooting gallery for the odyssey.
And PS4's biggest exclusive this year can be watched on youtube for free.
2deep4u Indie trash. Pass.
I've found at least 8 games that I'm now looking forward to playing because of this PC-related event
>pointing and shooting is so revolutionary
lol doesn't even have a real gun feel. Consoles in the 70s did it better. Catch up pleb.
Even in chains like gamestop and especially mom & pop shops.
aaaaand you got me there
yeah that's fair, i've had my fair share of issues a number of games. that said, it's dummy easy to emulate older operating systems and play those games in a virtual machine for a more authentic experience.
honestly even tho they play the same games i don't even think comparing pc to console is fair to either one. they're totally different devices meant for different things. it's like saying a swiss army knife and a butter knife are the same thing no matter what the context is
low quality bait
I think, in the grand scheme of things emulation is a subpar solution for a real problem. Virtualization isn't a one-size-fits-all solution either, you're gonna be dealing with unfortunate hardware limitations.
The only real solution to playing old games is playing on the real hardware. This is why retro PC building has been a growing scene and why classic consoles are a growing audience. The one-size-fits-all solution doesn't exist. It just depends on how much you're willing to compromise. Do you want a proper PS1 set up or will you settle for emulation where not even the BIOS renders correctly because 480i is impossible on PCs?
Enthusiasts don't really care for compromise. Personally having played many old PC games, I think they're shit by and large, so the entire platform has very little appeal.
we have your games. playstation, nintendo, xbox, all of them.
>the most revolutionary game in the past decade
>VR copy-paste garbage
Who gives a fuck about exclusives
>and why classic consoles are a growing audience.
Those are still just emulators
Classic as in the real thing, user.
Here is the game that made PC gaming great again. In fact now it's even worth it to buy a PC just for this game.
store.steampowered.com
PC is not about exclusives because it makes little sense to make games exclusive to PC unless it's due to console hardware limitations. Exclusives these days only exist to get you to buy consoles shitty underpowered hardware.
meh played it 12 years ago. PC is late to the party again.
I count all multiplats as pc exclusive since that is the only platform I can play them at 1440p with 60+ fps with a normal draw distance and high res textures.
esports
>pc has some exclusives, but the main point has always been that it is almost always the best experience for any multiplat with more opportunities to get games much cheaper.
You dont need to pay for games on PC, retarded steam drone
And those are a limited supply with a limited lifespan
Because it is almost always the best way to play games in general and you have complete freedom over how you do so instead of being at the whims of the console company. Exclusives hasn't been an issue for PC for like a decade, you will have maybe half a dozen games a generation worth playing that aren't multiplat and there is nothing stopping you buying a console for those. Anything except exclusives is almost always better on PC.
Additionally there are many genres that only exist properly on PC (RTS, 4X, adventure, real roguelikes, and FPS) while this isn't true on console. And before the inevitable retard jumps in, you can just plug a controller into a PC if you want to.
Also paid online remains completely inexcusable and I think people make too light of how fucking bad that is.
>limited supply
that's fine.
>limited lifespan
take care of them.
>what exclusives does the PC have?
Deus Ex
better on PS2.
pc was never about exclusives shitposter kun. deus ex, half life, diablo, crysis, all went to consoles. pc is just about having the best experience, graphics, mods, and fun games that need more buttons or more precise mouse inputs than a controller can provide. you might also consider playing "indie shovelware" and actually discovering some fun video games. but of course you're so brain damaged and somehow personally offended by reddit pcmr memes you come here to voice your ill founded disdain.
>admitting to buying a Vita
game of the year right here
>what exclusives does the PC have?
In time, all of them.
>he doesn't have the best system in from the past decade
sad
>take care of them
'Take care of them' doesn't ensure electronics of all things will last forever
LOL
Only for emulation...which the PC is better at anyway
generally the components that fail are easily replaceable. Take care of them. If your concerned about taking care of your electronics, stick to your current approach of use and dispose, but the enthusiast will be willing to take care of their belongings.
emulation is inferior to the real thing, always, full stop.
the exclusive access to do whatever the fuck i want online instead of having a piece of shit box that is designed solely for gaming and still runs like shit
What about the fact that games take too long to be ported to PC? GTAV, FFXV, RDR2 for instance.
>PC Gaming Show
Played on PC since '93, never heard of this. Last time I checked PC is not a corporation.
I was just going to call you a retard but actually I'd prefer you to elaborate on why so I can laugh at you
You're a dumb faggot Hylics was great. Fucking pleb nigger kill yourself.
Name a game on PC better than Bloodborne.
You guys are short on arguments.
>Implying PCfags haven't been emulating the PS2 version for most of those 12 years
>more people played golden on PC in two days than it was played on vita in 8 years
More like it's late to the PC amirite
I wish my standards for so low. Then I could enjoy every garbage game that comes my way like a hedonistic retard.
Most of the worthwhile PC exclusives and PC-centric multiplats get revealed elsewhere. PC Gaming Show just kind of gets the scraps.
>emulating
>ever
Much like sex, you can fake it with masturbation but I'd rather have the real thing.
>I wish my standards with that low
>Game not new so game bad
I have too many games to play already
No you don't.
There's a good number of pc exclusives, actually. Games like Arma, grand strategies, star craft or dota, counter strike, simulators, best versions for multiplats, mmos.
My most played games on steam are tekken 7 and dota 2. I'd take dota and star craft over console exclusives any day of the week.
>caring about physical in 2020
There's enough plastic in my room as it is.
You guys literally have only Bloodbourne and RDR in this argument, I would stop doing this because it actually shows how weak your position is rather than strong as those are the only games ever mentioned
Just from this thread, Deus Ex is better than Bloodbourne as are many console games as well. Do you really think people who can afford to buy a PC don't have the money to spare for a console? Most of us have played these.
So you're admitting that PC literally has no games? I'm glad.
got his ass
Sekiro, duh.
said without a hint of irony
Why would you ever emulate the PS2 version? Why would you play an FPS using a controller by choice?
COPE
for you
show me another vr game that plays anything like alyx
how does every single 3rd party game including those that are console exclusive constitute as no games? Do you not realize that there are genres literally exclusive to PC? Is this console fag retard cope?
Nevermind I'm retarded, thought you were talking about Deus Ex
PC is the best place to play multiplats and there are plenty of genres that are basically PC exclusive.
That's all there is to it.
>Best selling game of June in PC is a game I played in my PS2 a decade ago
At least I don't have to pay to play online. Here's hoping the DeS renake gets released in PC too.
Doesn't matter when the best games are exclusive to consoles. Name me one PC game better than Bloodborne. Better than Zelda: BOTW. Better than Super Mario Odyssey.
>emulation is inferior to the real thing, always, full stop.
HAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
who /idortchad/ here laughing at PClards and consolefags?
