The world is fucked beyond repair.
Recommend a game I can get lost in for 1000 hours.

not one game, but you could just play through the entire Megami Tensei series.
CK3 is coming out. You can waste a ton of time on it.
1000 hours?!
This. If you need a more immediate solution, try CK2.
Play the entire Kingdom Hearts series in order of release. You can get the whole thing on two discs now.
this. very good timesink
CK3 is going to be shit, just stick to 2 and pirate the dlc
I would recommend the Soulsborne series if you haven't tried it. If they click with you, you'll likely get a minimum of 50 hours out of each game, closer to 150+ if you want to get all the achievements in each.
Is it really beyond repair? Will things really never bounce back for me?
Monster Hunter
you should play some fun games
it sounds like you need it
Seconding this. Here's hoping Strange Journey actually happens in real life
This, FU alone is 2,000+ hours. 4U is like 500. Gen U is 9999
Try playing the last of us 2. Pure light-hearted escapism and endlessly replayable.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker has a good 120 hours in the base game and tons of replayability.
Remember the part where Tigger nearly sacrificed himself to save his friends?
Tigger movie was a mood.
Just play 10 JRPGs that take 100 hours to beat.
>Xenoblade Chronicles 1
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2
>Persona 3
>Persona 4
>Persona 5
>Dragon Quest XI
>Tales of Vesperia
>Tales of the Abyss
>Tales of Symphonia
>Star Oean 3: Til The End Of Time
There, that's 10 weebshit JRPGs that last at least 100 hours. Have fun
Why do you think the world is fucked user?
Corona is a virus with low lethality and the cure is coming next year
Most of the BLMshit happened because it's used by politicians as ammo because theres new elections soon
Ive never played a japanese game in my life, where should I start?
Super mario bros
Morrowind. Just don't read anything about it online. Discover everything on your own. Make sure you have both expansions or the GOTY edition. If you look up FAQs or anything about it, it's going to ruin the most fantastic part of the game, which is exploring and figuring out what you can achieve with such a free and open system. It's the only truly great game I've ever played where you can basically do anything you want. My favorite character was the first one I made who was a merchant alchemist who didn't wear armor, didn't use weapons, didn't use destruction magic and just talked her way through things and used illusion, stealth and alteration. I was able to just do what I wanted, picking flowers and other ingredients, making potions, selling them for a profit, etc. And by the end of the game, I was literally a god. Such an amazing game.
>Ive never played a japanese game in my life, where should I start?
How does this even happen?
But yeah just start with Mario Bros or Super Mario 64
we will never get god hand 2 :(
I've spent 1,000+ hours on several fighting games and FPS, all competitive of course.
Viva Pinata, Sequel is better in all regards but story.
This game is a rabbit hole that I jump into whenever I need to escape for a few weeks.
Maybe I'll try it again. I tried before but I couldn't get over the constant whiffing of your weapon and how slow I walked. Also the side quests seemed less interesting than Oblivion's which was my favorite part of that game.

Balloons tower defense. You just put the monkeys on the map, and they pop balloons for you. There's enough strategy and engagement that it's not an idler, but not so much that you need to actually think about anything.
It's perfect for when you want to just turn your mind off for a few hours.
Also, it's like $10 on Steam and regularly drops as low as $1.
