How are the rankings Wonder-Bros? Keeping them Platinum?

Alright I need help, don't really get the Boxing mini game, at Giga Goojin and I'm as lost as I was with Wallgagoojin.

Never played Punch-out.

Physical copies come out in stores in 11 days.

Watch the eyes. When they twitch, he's going to punch.

I'm gonna need more than that, when is a good time to punch evade or block, how to get K.O stars for the punch etc.

Blocking isn't really needed. Just keep dodging. When he lifts his leg, that's when you jump as he's going to do a kick. Punch him after you a dodge an attack as he's open.

I don't understand the thought process to calling this an "awful game". Were they just filtered casuals?

Do the type of punches(face/stomach) matter at all? Can you do combos?

I think the speed of the punches helps. Like if the face punches are kind of slow, go for the stomach punches. Though that may just be for Wallgah-Goojin and not Giga.

Pretty much every critically panned Wii U (timed) exclusive was a casual filter. Remember those reviews of Sonic Lost World, where the guy seemingly was dying on purpose on the first level? Reminded me of that reviewer that couldn't past that column in the Cuphead tutorial

Oh wow, I forgot about that shit. I wasn't a fan of Sonic Lost World but it wasn't THAT difficult. Journos really are the ultimate casuals...
On the other hand, you've got that one guy at IGN that gave it a glowing 9 out of 10, so people with taste do exist they're just hard to come by. And they seem to purposely not put them on genuine trash like Pokemon SwSh and The Last of Us 2.

Retards from faggotera think that if a game has actual gameplay then, it is "bad an unappealing."

Depending on the angle that the robot attacks, you will get rapid punches based on how you hit back.

HOW ABOUT YOU PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE

Is the switch version any good?

Sadly... reading through their thread about the game doing poorly in Japan and seeing all the "I'm glad it failed" and "It was too hard" and "It was so boring" really shows the kind of idiots that are everywhere.

Did my pure plat runs on Normal and Easy, taking a bit of a break before I move onto hard though so as not to burn myself out though. Hope they can patch 007-B before I get back into it

yes

Yeah the switch version is good. It doesn't really run much better than it did on WiiU but the resolution bump is pretty much as good for the gameplay as the more stable framerate is.

It's fine enough. The FPS isn't that much improved, but the load times are much better.

Once you start thinking of this game as being the dwarf fortress of action games its reception makes a lot more sense

Anyone who "cheers" for a game to fail As long as it isn't agenda shoving dogshit, should be hung. Especially for a Platinum game.

Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Dwarf Fortress. Reading up on it, it sounds complex and it has a huge learning curve. Hmm, sounds familiar.

Platinum are one of the few companies still making "game-ass games". I'm glad that Nintendo (another one of the few) is still happy to work with them.
I like to think that being the 17th most successful Video Game Kickstarter is worth something right?

About to do 101%

should i expect to die in one hit?

more like 3 or 4 in most cases. There are instant deaths sprinkled around now though.

We dont use the word fun at this point

Yesterday there was a phoneposting tranny going into full force and trying to combat all the TLOU2 shitposting by making several anti-W101 threads.
It was pretty funny to watch.

The lasers at the game are instant deaths, like on hard.

There are two major things about 101% hard, there is no slow-mo when drawing Unite Morphs. This isn't too hard to deal with, you should be decent enough at drawing morphs without any problem. The real ball kicker is that whenever you pull out a unite morph from standing, it will always consume 1 battery. So even if you made one and put one away while running away or something if you pull it out again it will cost a battery again.

Haha. I must have missed that.
If I knew how to draw, I'd draw a comic of some casual schmuck happily cheering as they make it through Last of Us 2 with all the cheats on, and then they step into W101 only to get stabbed by Vorrken and smashed by a Megang.

Should I be drawing anymore or use the custom block that makes them bigger as I hold the button

Holding the button will make it a bit easier to run around, but it still takes a little longer than immediately getting it out from a draw, but on 101% hard I think the timing is negligible. The battery drain from drawing is less than using the custom block.

Made for a hype boss thread, I should make one for every boss...

The Yoko Shimomura remix tracks are going to be hype as hell.
