One is full of dipshits and the other is full of sadomasochist hobbyists
It would be accurate if it was starcraft instead of fallout
It's all trope stuff. Human creativity is constrained a lot more than people think, especially with game media where settings are the dressing the mechanical engine of the program wears.
I can't believe warhammer copied off of fallout AND starcraft
Is this a Fallout thread or a WH40k thread
Starcraft lacking some necron or ork type factions is a surprise
What a ludicrously strenuous comparison, fuck off
i wish they could at least come up with some new stuff, has everything been invented?
the more i learn aboutt videogame lore the more lame it all seems
>Helghast from Killzone are just space nazis who believe they're a superior race because of surviving in a toxic planett
>The Legion from Fallout is an ultraviolent intolerant version of Romans
>Human factions in sci-fi are just america most of the time
>i have only ever played fallout 4 the post
>NCR
>no heavy infantry
you never played new vegas
>>The Legion from Fallout is an ultraviolent intolerant version of Romans
t. Doesn't know anything about the Legion
>justify this
Fuck it, I'll bite.
Warhammer is a popular turn based tabletop strategy game
Fallout was heavilly inspired by turn based tabletop games
When you break everything down like that it's always very coincidental. Also super mutants aren't monsters, they had a clear goal in mind and the master thought what he was doing would be vindicated by ascending the human race to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Super Mutants quit doing that shit after the Master died and kept to themselves after the war, mainly due to being purged and run off anywhere they settled.
>don't have heavy infantry
>old warhammer logo
i already miss it...
>exclusively heavy infantry
I know you're straining your mind to find a comparative point, but the Space Marines have Scouts, Neophytes, Scout Eyes, and several other light units within their ranks, and Space Marines also have heavier units, such as Terminators.
Also, I don't know why you went out of your way to use Tyranids as your awful comparison to Super Mutants instead of Orkz.
Why the hell does anyone even agree to wear this?
As a point of honor? Imagine how hard it was, lore wise, to take down a BoS trooper. More than that, imagine being able to wear that armor as proof you did it.
Godly protection and considering your main foes are using machetes and the few gun users are few and far in-between you're practically invincible.
Yeah, but it's heavy as shit w/o servo and i bet that there is no fan in the helmet.
I'm not saying it wouldn't suck to wear it but wearing it would make you a fucking legend.
NCR does have heavy infantry though, they have NCR power armour. What a stupid image
Fair enough.
It's hard to be a legend, huh?
>some guy read 4 lines on roman history and decided to make his own warband
thats about it isnt it
At it's most bare bone premise? Sure. It's a lot more complicated than that, though.
huh? i dont remember this from New Vergas
The NCR had a lot of reclaimed and captured suits of power armor from their war with the Brotherhood of Steel that started about a decade before the war with the Legion. It's also why the NCR uses a fiat currency because as a final "fuck you" the BoS attacked their capital and irradiated their gold reserve.
and just like that op is obliterated
>and just like that op is obliterated
>NCR
has literal orbital laser cannon, power armor soldiers and by far the largest military of any wasteland outfit
Left one makes sense
Based.
