what's an average non chess player rating? made an account on lichess and found myself at 1400 after playing a few rounds

Been playing for about a month now and I'm hardstuck ~300.

I’d have beaten you 3 moves before that end position.

is this on some other site? 300 is like playing random moves tier from what I can tell even the computer at 800 is giving you all pieces for free for no reason

If you haven't mated someone by the time you have that much material advantage then you're the scrub mate

is this depicting the black king getting mated by the queens while the cuck white king watches from the side?

Chess.com starts you off at 1200 I believe. Most new players will sink to 400 if they know in any basic way how to play

Cope. Look at how big my army is, goddamn.

chess.com

In chess winning with less pieces is the power move

okay I guess the rating works wildly different on lichess.org

I mean what you're doing is pretty much BM with how many queens you have.

It doesn't work different but I think lichess starts everyone off at 1600 so there's a higher baseline

not as big as my pp desu

lichess starts at 1500 with a questionmark but 400 on that site would have to be you giving up your pieces for no reason at all

How do I git gud without having to memorize game states?

>naked hubris showing
Shame you left that one space showing though, get better bud

Americans are so mentally ill it's not even funny, nigger worship is the american state religion

You don't. Take the Bobbypill

You have to understand openings and what they attempt to accomplish. You have to memorize essentially, but don't be afraid to deviate every once in a while it will throw your opponent off guard.

Understand the principles. Watch grand master games. Learn the importance of the end game.

why wouldnt you just end him earlier?

im pretty sure thats just a homosexual size queen, as is typically the case

That's not the point of chess lol. You could have literally ended this game at least 20 moves ago I bet.

Memorizing the openings will get you almost nowhere on its own

I usually blunder late game.
Maybe it's because I only play 10 minutes time limit.

The bobbypill is actually criminally unbased. Chess960 or FischerRandom sucks.

theres plenty of free guides on that site, 300 is like infant level who doesnt know chess pieces moves

Yeah if you want to just clear a noob the easiest way is just exchange all pieces to rush to end-game and then just curbstomp him

The stalemate rule is garbage, I will punch anyone that disagrees.

>t. opening book hero

based, incels seething

Not really. I just hate how a lot of positions are wildly unbalanced in white's favor. I don't like how there's nothing to learn.

I honestly think I should exchange more. Gives me less to think about and thus less opportunities to blunder.
I follow the principles of "bring out all pieces" and "connect the rooks" religiously so I should be able to improve from there.

Just git gut

The ONE thing Chess 2 improved on over chess 1. In chess 2 stalemates count as checkmates.

Absolute chess chad.

Exchanging for no reason isn't good practice unless you're more confident in your end game skills. Grand masters will do this to other Grand Masters in that case.
Otherwise exchanging is contextual but often has advantages even when there's no clear material gain

>opponent makes a stupid move
>asks to redo
I always accept too what a fucking cuck I am it's not my fault they made a stupid move and I ate their piece

Wouldn’t this be bleached?
