Which boss broke you?
Which boss broke you?
Guardian ape, but i managed
Owl, still haven't beaten him. Re-started the game recently though...
None of them. I’m not bad at vidya like the posters here.
I managed to beat him last night on my first attempt. I had of course, lost a handful of times the day before.
And this is where I am stuck now. I really hope this fight isn't like Genichiro all over again where I just feel like I'm going to be stuck here forever.
the true owl fight pissed me off for a time, and so did the final isshin fight, but i figured them out eventually and got that endorphin rush the game promised
Old lady
Most of them honestly, and then I'd come back a day later and ace them and wonder why the fuck I have such hangups on studying bosses to learn their moveset.
Guardian spe and sculptor
grinding for all skills. hardest part of the game.
Isshin. It's been months. He's an impenetrable wall for me. He unironically scares me during his second phase. Motherfucker is just too fast, too strong.
Snake Eyes Cheapgrab-i
maybe i had trouble with some bosses but i beat them all, and nothing beat that feeling of finally overcoming thembwhen 30 mins ago you were like "how the hell am i gonna get past this?" Its what fromsoft sword games are about
I will never understand people who search up exploits and trainers because they lack the mental fortitude to anylyze and improve. i'm serious, if you look at some people they just breeze past tutorials get to chained ogre and start screaming "why swing sword not kill big guy REeeee" then google "ogre strategy guide/exploit/cheese after their 6th attempt
demon of hatred was the first proper challenge, i remember having a bit of trouble with owl ontop of ashina
Not a boss, but as soon as I got to the Ashina castle interior my interest in the game just kind of petered out.
Felt like there wasn't much depth, and that it wasn't varied enough up to that point, in contrast to say; dark souls.
I probably spent more time on Isshin than anyone else, I just could never properly make it through his second phase correctly getting parry timings down so I wound up getting passive, then getting into the rut of continuing attempts but not really trying. The final phase then is a cakewalk because lightning reflects are free.
Not even bosses, the fucking snake dudes, both of them, filtered me for good.
I definitely understand how this opinion could be adopted. I honestly expected myself to end up sharing this opinion. I've ended up loving the game, and think it's probably my 3rd favorite game they've put out during the last 2 console generations. Makes me incredibly hyped for Elden Ring.
Unironically Seven Ashina Spears. He really demands that you get familiar with the mechanics of the game. After that, everything never really walled me
Demon of Hatred. I enjoyed fighting every other boss but this guy felt very out of place. I probably could have beaten him legit if I had just given it more attempts but I ended up glitching him off the map
I actually took a long time in the 2nd miniboss of the game and honed my skills there. After that I think no moment really broke me but last boss took 40 minutes to down.
I feel you on that.
Isshin Sword Saint. Took me more than 10 tries to beat him.
demon of hatred, got through the filter though, is that how the imagery works, the filter lets the clean pros through and the granular bad players get caught? He got me stuck for a few days.
All of them gave me a decent struggle aside from Dragon and Horsebro.
I think SS Isshin gave me most trouble though.
i found old lady before the horseman. also on first attempt i noticed a cheap way to completely shit in her mouth and got her on my first attempt lol
I went to lady butterfly after doing gyoubu so it was significantly easier. If you go to her first though i can see it being a lot more difficult.
chained ogre. was the only part of the game i disliked and had any substantial trouble with, took a week break or so from the game in frustration. couldn't believe that they could make an ogre with more broken hitboxes and tracking than the ds2 ogres
Finding out you could parry that grab was a revelation.
Isshin. I really wish you didn't have to fight Genichiro first all the time.
You can parry that shit? Managed to beat both of them with mildly cheesy tactics but damn I wish I had known this.
isshin was too hard, i just left it there but never went back to defeat him.
not worth the effort just to get a 2 minutes cutscene, the reason why i pushed through hard bosses was to experience the rest of the game.
just jump to the right and you dodge it.
also she's weak to the sabimaru poison
None of them. Do you think i'm a homossexual?
This piece of shit bitch. It took me about 3 hours of trying over and over again, i was screaming and seething by the end of it. I got through all routes and no boss or mini-boss was half the pain in the ass he was.
It was incredibly satisfying when he showed up again at the end of the game and i took him down perfectly first try. Pure Ludo.
Isshin, Sword Saint and Demon of Hatred broke me down hard. I think my neighbors thought I was domestic abusing my gf.
Just jump nigger.
Yeah, that shit is so annoying. I hate fighting that retard over and over again. Really gets to you after a while.
lmao2ape and DoH got me hot and flustered for a bit but I still eventually got them
Isshin raped me for 3 days straight but I managed. Never felt better. I love this game.
Isshin and Owl on NG+
When they pull backwards to hook you in press block. There’s a few videos showing you how it’s done.
I found NG+ significantly easier than NG since I had all my cool tricks and toys. Also do you mean Owl or SECRET Owl?
Headless
normal. always found Owl 2 much easier for some reason.
there's a 50% chance any time you jump one of his grabs he'll just rotate 180 degrees or whatever the fuck in a split second and grab you anyway. that's what frustrated me so much, shit like that kept happening over and over again- i know people like to post webms of souls games where stuff like that happens and hitboxes fuck up, but never in any of those games did an enemy seem so broken and consistently buggy as the ogre was for me
Seven Ashina Spears humiliated me
beat him 2nd try
wow anonymous user on the anonymous image forum Zig Forums, you're so fucking cool.
