/thread

they like to always see loli ass

Why are anons so afraid of discussing videogames?

Japan makes a fuckton of first person games, what you want is FPS and they suck

This

>Japan makes a fuckton of first person games
Besides Resident Evil, Siren, and an optional mode in Disaster Report, what else, really? It seems overwhelmingly third person.

fuck japan and fuck you
worthless thread

All the fucking dungeon crawlers that exist, 99% of them.

>asking why japan is shit on a weeb board full of fat weebs

kek, you're right but you gonna get sperged at

>dungeon crawlers
These games are usually turn-based and don't have free movement. Besides FROM's games they barely count.

based

I know fps isn’t popular because they get motion sickness easy. No idea about the other.

Japan doesn't have the 100IQ minimum necessary to play strategy games.

They don't like it. If you're busy just read the last paragraph.

Keep moving the goalpost

First person is a gimmick in turn-based dungeon crawlers. They don't utilize the perspective mechanically, just as a drawing perspective.

Not an argument, first person games are first person games.

Dungeon crawlers don't even make up even close to a majority % of Japan's games so not sure what point you think you're making with this.

You could say that about any first person game then.

Those goalposts just hit mach 3

Among western games, first person games make up a significant % of the games, and the majority of them in the last 15 or so years.

How were they moved? If the % of first person games in Japan is piddling, that means the OP's question is on the mark.

RTS are just a matter of how fast you can spam units, Koreans that are east asians like them are the king of the genre, its just that the japanese traditionally don't care about those games and why would they since its a shit (and dead) PC genre like FPS.

>RTS are just a matter of how fast you can spam units
Maybe if you only play shit RTS like StarCraft.

>hard tactics/strategy
Name 5 (five)

C&C was even worse with only tanks being spammed

Try SC or PA

All RTS games are like that, its just a matter of producing units and zerging your opponent faster than he does.

He probably means strategy games where RNG is heavy, that makes the game harder according to westaboo brainlets.

UFO: Enemy Unknown
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Total War: Shogun 2
Port Royale 2
Cossacks 3

Not him, but for Japan it's close to nothing, it's niche as hell. You saw the reaction to Ghostwire Tokyo just last week. For us in the west it's one of the most popular genres in history. Maybe even #1 if some maniac decides to do the numbers.

>All RTS games are like that
Why talk out of your ass like this?
