So is Steam. Have we all already forgotten that Steam, for example, scans your entire hard drive to see what's on it? Their defense was it's part of their "anti-cheat" protections. Anything they find they can share with third parties. You agreed to that as part of the Steam subscriber agreement.

Extremely overrated movement system. Fans of this game treat it like it's on par with quake or tribes but its actually very basic and can be mastered in about 10 minutes.

I was going to buy it on Origin so it runs with 1 launcher instead of 2 but Steam has it cheaper than on origin

I think regardless of where you buy it it only needs Origin running to launch. All the EA shit I bought on Steam was also added to my Origin account and I don't need Steam running to use any of them.
