No, I'm still at the part where I reached the Hidden Machina Village

Is there any good guide out there?
The Wiki doesn't mention any prerequisite other than having purple affinity between Shulk and Fiora which I built pretty fast.

Pretty easy if you have a good set-up.
Melia is a better healer and Shulk-Reyn-Dunban is a good DPS team if you know what you're doing.

Which gems should I prioritize early on?
I'm on my way to the High Entias for the first time.
So far, I've been putting any Aggro Boosting & +DEF gems I can find on Reyn.
Shulk gets all the attack ones.

You realize that even without using Sharla, you have multiple healing skills to link, means to mitigate damage through good defense/agility or lowering enemy attack and can generally win fights simply by DPS racing enemies, including bosses, right? Add to that that you're invulnerable in chain attacks and that Riki has the best party-wide healing Art in the game and you absolutely never fucking have to use Sharla for anything. He having a less than worthless talent art and only one Ether and one Physical attack makes her an absolute fucking chain attack trainwreck and a big dip in your attack potential, and the only healing you'll ever need can come from better tanking (dodge or face tanking), good skill links and the one or two healing arts the other characters have.

Dunban and Riki make Sharla useless and pointless, but in FC there is not a "Dunban" and "Riki".

Its a wonderful series and there's a lot of content/story to experience and I expect nothing but soul on a 3rd entry.

Just about to go to Prison Island. I'm doing every side quest and all of Colony 6 this time, so I'm moving extremely slowly. Been a blast all over again still. I also plan to do all H2H scenes. Not sure if I'll go for all the achievements. That said, there's one for making a H2H as bad as possible. Any suggestions for a funny one?

I still say Tyrea should have joined as a Fiora clone, and that mustache High Entia should have joined as a Dunban clone.

Who the fuck uses talent arts in chains though.
Sharla's bad for chains because she has way too much blue shit...unless you're using her with Melia but even then most of her blue arts are healing bullshit which is pretty useless in chains.

Literally fucking everyone? They're Jokers you can use to pivot to new color arts for free while keeping your combo going and MAX chain Blossom Dance and Sword Drones are fucking devastating.
