I never even got the impression he was gay from the game, he never showed any sexual attraction to anyone, only an obsession with keeping his friends and family safe. Only years later did I learn that in an artbook that included a bunch of completely new info (including some stuff that was contradictory to the game), he was more strongly implied as such. But then again he does have a descendant that looks similar, so maybe he's bisexual, idk.

Tear Ring Saga is kino but it's a really long game

Sacred Stones is the best game and it's not even close.

Eliwood is my favorite lord and one of my favorite characters in the series. He's more human than the cardboard cutouts that were the lords of the previous games, but is still an entirely heroic character. They somehow finally hit the right balance with him.

As much as I disliked RD, it was pretty cool to see Ike being a stone cold motherfucker who'd straight up murder his former companions for choosing the wrong side of the conflict.

The problem with it being bait is it doesn't bait the FE veterans because it has SD and Awakening as bad games.

SS had shit easy gameplay as its only real downside.
