Bump.
>Drakengard 3
This boss is on my bucket list to beat before I die. It's probably one of the most frustrating bosses in gaming, but the whole 'fight' is atmospheric and meaningful.
Never played MGS but doesn't this boss die if you leave the console on too long? pretty based if so.
HOW YA FIND THIS NIGGA? I LEFT THE BATTLEFIELD AND CAME BACK AND HE SHOOTING BETTER
>impossible to lose
>good
Playing hide and go seek for 5 minutes isn't a good boss fight.
you can avoid the boss fight altogether by shooting him with a sniper rifle after the cutscene introducing him ends
>Never played MGS but doesn't this boss die if you leave the console on too long? pretty based if so.
He dies of old age if you don't play the game for a few days and then come back.
The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed...
It's based on your system's internal clock, so if you start his fight, save and quit, then reload a week later, he dies of old age.
If you load up any earlier than that, there's a cutscene where you get snuck up on and ambushed by him and you're sent back to the previous section.
>made a save right before The End fight to show my friend how cool it was
>weekend arrives and he comes over
>load up the save
>The End dies
At least post a pic of the boss fag.
But yeah this boss is kino. A rare example of a well designed boss in a turn-based JRPG.
Speaking of Persona bosses, you boys remember Hitler?
>that Sephiroth tier length on that bastard sword
>one hands it
You are now thinking of the obscene amount of hours Nyx put into the gym
>you can snipe and kill him in his wheelchair on the dock right after a cutscene and skip his fight entirely
hell, you can just wait a few IRL days and he'll die naturally
Why can't games have these quirks anymore?
Snipe him early in game
Advance the console clock
Have a tense sniper fight
Sneak around and hold him up
It was kino
The quiet fight in mgsv fuckin sucks
>he gets pissed if your kill/eat his parrot
Even better, instead of waiting you can set your PS2's clock forward by a week or whatever it takes and that works instantly.
Bump this shit.
Zig Forums doesn't want to participate because most haven't beaten any games with bosses
of all the bosses in mgs3 you choose the photosynthesis hermit that you can just get up and walk away from...
I can't believe Atlus still hasn't topped this
Vergil’s final boss fight in DMC 3 was pretty neat. Also how do you guys feel about The Boss’s fight in MGS3?
>best sniper in the world
>old as FUCK
>literally on deaths door
>one last battle keeps him alive
>going in blind and you actually feel like he's hunting you
>sneaking around and walking right passed him hiding
>gets real fuckin mad if you shoot his bird
>has like 5 different endings
>not even particularly hard, just really different and interesting
GOAT boss fight
I can't play MGS HD on PS3 because Dualshock 4 doesn't work on this game
FUCK
I know it's reddit but Safer Sephiroth is still kino
The first time I saw the supernova back in like 2001 I thought it was going to one shot my ass
The thing about The End fight was the ending where his dentures fly out. It was absolutely ridiculous. After the laugh you go up a long ladder and the main theme plays. It's a strange B-movie feel that has only been reproduced for me by RE7
Pain in the fucking arse on the first playthrough. Now it's actually fairly easy.
You can lose. Losing punishes you by sending you back and making you lose time.
the entire ending section
Honestly most MH fights are pretty good but the final part of this fight in Iceborne is great.
Yiazmat
i love this fucking game
WW and TP came close with their fantastic final bosses but this right here is still the best built up and executed.
>The theme song for the final dungeon was Ganon playing the organ
KINOOOO
For me, it's Insurrection Prime, the best raid boss in Destiny 2.

I don't remember what was my last boss fight, let alone a memorable one.
The End and the pain have the worst difficulty scaling, for opposite reasons. The End is a piece of cake by the time you start playing on extreme, and the Pain becomes really hard despite being a very boring boss.
getting to counter CQC her for the first time is probably one of the best moment in the series
not even death can save you from me
>just picked up Drakengard 3
>having fun so far
>not using a guide
>keep seeing random posts abut how the final boss is the hardest thing ever

The 2nd fight is the best in the trilogy.
>when he explodes his wheelchair wheel flys through the air and hits you
kino
If you lose against the End you're shit.
Worst version of that boss. Nishiki becomes a cakewalk with a slideshow interrupting his fight, and he loses his ability to use items laying about like Kiryu can, making him seem way below Kiryu to the point of being pathetic.
How come no one posted the original kino boss fight
I believe you summoned your power like this.
persona
You shouldn't mistake our powers as being equal
>the music is from the boss' POV and begs you to side with him
I miss this kind of creativity from games.
This. Just killing you and letting you continue would be the easy way out, the first time he ko's you and sends you back to the cell is a great wtf moment, especially if you try to save at the beginning of the fight. Makes you realize you're playing with a different set of rules than usual.
Also adding
This baffled me on my first playthrough. Had to watch a walkthrough on YouTube to figure out what to do.
>can't snap his neck when you sneak up behind him
pissed me off tbqh
The first time you play through this is fucking intense because you have no idea when the scripted part will kick in or how it'll end so there's that moment of horror when you feel like you fucked up somehow and will have to do it ll over again
Nobody posted it yet because all the oldfags are on /vr/
