JRPGs have contributed nothing to video games.
For that matter, neither have WRPGs. The genre is a poor adaptation of source material that has only gotten worse with age, and the geographical subgenre distinction is not only arbitrary but incorrect, as they both originate from and share many of the same design flaws.
Video game RPGs are the definitive example of wasted potential.
Go play some actual video games and stop giving this garbage the time of day.
