What even is a Breath of the Wild 2? All we know for certain is that it takes place in the same map, and Zelda MIGHT be more than a disembodied voice. What could they possibly add to justify giving us the same landmass? How do you make Hyrule interesting after already spending a hundred hours in it?

Off the top of my head I can think of adding more Shiekah slate powers and either improve the durability mechanic or scrap it entirely.

What even is the dungeon replacement? The beasts are complete, it's not like you can just redo them over again

Giving Ganon some character would be cool, have him be more than a villain of the week who's evil because reasons?

But then what do you do with other characters? Everyone important is either dead or finished their story.

Link dies to Ganon's golf club and Zelda is the protag
Eventually Zelda forgives Ganon

I'm okay with killing off Link, he's a boring nothing character anyway. You could replace him in any game and it wouldn't make a difference.

Hey is shadowbanning a thing on Zig Forums?

bump

Man they shouldn't have cut her hair..

Underground nigger. They can literally make a second "world" underground. Harder enemies, darker areas, proper dungeons.

Oh, I hope you get to play as both Zelda and Link. Being able to dress Zelda up in different outfits would be great. Maybe you control one character and the other plays like an AI support.

She looks cute as hell with short hair, tastelet.

That is a really sad character.

you have shit taste, user

that'd be pretty cool actually, it'd be neat if you'd be able to return to the surface at points in the game (or whenever you want?) and explore a hyrule in the process of being rebuilt.

It was confirmed same map? I thought people just assumed that.

that sounds like balls

She needs a good human dick.

I assume 95% of people wouldn't enjoy spending most of the time in some boring cheap as fuck dark underground. Don't even remind me of Fallout 3.

Zelda is supposed to have nature and blue skies.

The Devs said they wanted to revisit the same Hyrule and everyone assumed that meant the same map

I don't think it was outright confirmed, I think it's just assumed because of that shot of hyrule castle at the end of the trailer. Granted, they confirmed that they conceived the idea of the game as a DLC to the original, but it grew so much that it turned into a new game, so that kinda makes it seem like it will definitely be the same overworld, although maybe a few years later.

I could see an "underground" or "otherworld" thing being thrown in. Alternate takes on the same map is a recurring theme in Zelda so I don't know why we could see it here.

They cut her hair to be as short as Link's so it doesn't clip through her clothes when she runs.
I love the Play as Zelda mod form BotW, but I always switch to the shorter hairs because of how the long hair clips through clothes.

haha, imagine eating her impacted shit haha

Taking place on the "same map" would be fucking retarded and the worst possible form of phoning in a sequel.

What makes a lot more sense is "taking place on a heavily altered hyrule"
an example would be if all of hyrule got lifted into the air in chunks and now the map is big floating landmasses torn apart and an underworld beneath it

fuck you nigga Link is great

Never even played a Zelda game, still top waifu

Her design is good and she's a decent tsundere, but them making you have to find the memories and the possibility of finding them out of order makes her seem bipolar as fuck. Shame.

>I assume 95% of people wouldn't enjoy spending most of the time in some boring cheap as fuck dark underground. Don't even remind me of Fallout 3.
Underground does not have to be boring. You can do fun shit with underground if you're creative, like, for example, having an artificial sky in certain areas. Zelda is a world of magic and hyper advanced technology. There's no need to limit yourself to "durr it's a dark brown cave."

BotW 2 should include a mechanic where Zelda follows you, and if you sleep in a bed you wake up with Zelda next to you with disheveled hair.

>not playing as zelda and bringing link along
You don't want an escort that can defend themselves and doesn't annoy you with looping dialogue?

Why? Give me one character trait that isn't "courageous".
I was under the impression that it was confirmed, at least that's what the news stories said at the time
I don't think they're dumb enough to just do hyrule again so you're probably right on the underground thing. I really like the idea of floating islands though, but there's still the issue of "I've been here before"
