I hope the Mii Fighter costume is good because as soon as they announced it would be an ARMS fighter months ago, I lost all amount of excitement I had for the reveal of the first fighter on Fighter Pass 2.

That all said, I think it's more likely Nintendo will break one of the patterns than actually use a smash tie in as a primary advertising avenue for a new game. I'm just saying the logic isn't as retarded as you're presenting it to be.

Given that they'd have to announce ARMS 2 first for this to work, I sincerely doubt this. I'd love to be proven wrong, if only to shut assist and spiritfags up Genoids specifically, but I think it's certainly a character from the original ARMS game. My money's on Brass.

Of the four you listed, Brass has the highest chance.

Mewtwo, Lucas and Roy were first-party DLC from 4 that weren't shill picks. Piranha Plant was not a shill pick.
Corrin's game was out in Japan at that time.
If the character was going to be to promote ARMS 2, they would've obviously revealed ARMS 2 already.

I genuinely forgot those three were DLC in 4, given they had already been in prior games.
Also, being out != having time to give a fuck about their game.
