Never pay more than 20 bucks for a computer game.

publisher sale before steam sale generally has better price for the games on sale

It's bandai though

But it, if it's cheaper talk to support for the difference.

Where you like Ace Combat or this is your first in the series, it's a great fucking game. Kino soundtrack too.

Well that's a port

Deluxe comes with DLC, right?
30 bucks is a damn steal for all of it together.

I'm starting off with 4, but buying this one during the sale. Is there a guide for the emulation? The performance drops when I switch to third person view.

Steam's discount policy requires a minimum of 2 months between discounts

So this won't just roll into next week or what are you trying to say?

I've never played any ace combat games. Should I jump in here?

Belkans Supreme

Get a regular edition. Deluxe is a waste of money. You will most likely play through this game once and jets you get from deluxe are OP and avaiable from the start and huge part of AC7 is a progression

Last game I played where you shoot shit in a plane was crimson skies, is this better or worse?

bite the fucking bullet user you wont regret it

No. It's not a series anyone can play and it'll probably leave you angry after the first few missions.

The reason why they have decided to put their games on sale now is to deliberately avoid summer sale

There are a handful of nods and callbacks you won't get, especially from AC04, but otherwise it's meant to be a jump-in point for new players. Very newcomer friendly.

Everything goes on sale in the summer sale that doesn't make any sense

I've only played the 3rd one, and it was kinda surreal. In my memories at least.

DO IT FAGGOT

Thanks. Maybe I'll play the older ones first and if I like them I'll give this another go. The price will probably be down by then too.

>japanese make a vehicle game
>the menuing is an autistic nightmare

sounds right

You realize this is literally half of reviews, right? This series is niche for a reason.

>its called dogfighting because its 2 planes chasing each other's tails

4 is top tier and still feels good to play. It doesn't really matter either way, I'd jump into 7 and go backwards if you like it enough.

The hotas support thing is right. I bought an ace combat 7 branded hotas and it didn't work with the pc version of the game.

English version of the game was butchered and the plot was removed. There's a fan translated patch out there if you want to play it the way it was meant to be played.

Nah, that's dumb. He's got the right idea. It's always better to start with the earlier entries of a series, and at no cost to boot.

Well, I had a russian translation back then so no idea to be honest. I know I liked the game that's for sure.

Good call either way. You'll have a blast regardless. 04 is my personal favorite, so I'm excited that you get to experience it for the first time, user.

>everything goes on sale
No, not everygame goes on sale.

pretty much everything unless it's brand spanking new
