Probably because there hasn't been anything better ever since, and this game isn't even in the top 5 of the best SW games. Really makes you fucking think, isn't it?

I understand that, but I just cannot comprehend how people look back at the Force Unleashed games so fondly. The Jedi Knight games are fucking right there, why don't people go and play them instead?

What's so contrarian about it? It's not a good Star Wars game. It looks good for sure. Other than that, it is inferior to Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, and The Force Unleashed. Those are facts. EA hasn't made a good Star Wars game in 8 years. That is baffling and just sad.

Dark Forces 2 aged a lot worse than Outcast, though. You can fire up the latter and play it without having to relearn mechanics and shit, but the older ones have weird as fuck hotkeys from before all that was standardized. Plus, those early 3D graphics on human models are just ugly to look at.
