who's that boy

that's a lame save, but still a save.

Play Metamorphosis Too bad its so fucking short

>Crown Trick opens with a ToS to agree to
lol

I did, but had to stop since it's clearly very linear and I didn't want to spoil myself

>it's ok when western studios do that

>personal favorite demos

Hellcard is really fun if you have 1 or 2 friends to play with. The multiplayer gimmick adds a ton to the Slay the Spire formula Really cool gimmick for the final boss too.
Biggest downside is it's very clearly unfinished and only has the barebones mechanics which also means it's hard due to lack of card selection. Still worth playing if you like deck building roguelikes.

>co-op or mp only indies
DOA

It's pre-alpha so they haven't added single player yet. Multiplayer is what sets it apart though and I'm glad they showed it off.

I don't like card games but generally single player should always be the focus.

>try to play exo one
>crashes my gpu drivers

> I don't like card games but generally single player should always be the focus
>Hearthstone
>YGO
>Magic
I'm not a fan of card games either, but even I know that all the most popular card games are heavily multiplayer focused, if not exclusive.

Is there even one other demo that does that?

What are some demos for a lowly coomer like me?

There's no other co-op card games that I can think of, if I didn't know this game had co-op I'd never have considered it.

That's not what kills it. Being a card game is what does.

vagrus was really cool, probably going to grab that at launch.

You must be really stupid to compare giants of CCG to indie games

>vagrus
really? I heard a lot of negative opinions about it

>The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk
I never played a tactical rpg before so decided to try something out of my comfort zone this time. I'm not sure how decent the gameplay is compared to other trpgs since I'm not use to the genre, but I had fun and it seems simple enough to get a hang of. The humor and characters are kinda crude, so that may turn some people off of it. Still I didn't mind the characters for the most part, seems like a typical D&D party,
There's no save though so after dying a few times during the party area it gets annoying having to backtrack all over again through the dungeon.
I'd play again if I find it on sale.

can you even list off any remotely popular indie card games with heavy single player focus or single player only?

I don't play card games, but slay the spire is successfull single-player card game

the demo really front loaded you with info about the world and the turnbased gameplay is only alright, it's not overly complicated. Great if you want an Oregon trail type game with big story focus.
I'd assume the lack of save is probably a demo only thing

I was the guy shilling for Hellcard, but all the roguelike deckbuilders are single player only (Slay the Spire, Monster Train)

WINDJAMMERS 2 BABYEEEEE. I'm so fucking hype for it to come out already.

I don't really play coomer games, but check out Lust from Beyond if you're into psychosexual horror. Don't worry, it has an option to turn off the censoring.

Does it work well in single-player?

It's got some cool worldbuilding but that's about all it has. The gameplay is extremely bare-bones.

any looter shooter games that isn't borderlands, shadow warriors 2, divison, and destiny? FPS or Third-person

There's Earth from Another Sun, but I kinda hated it so YMMV.

>Loved
Ultrakill
The Riftbreaker
Crumble
Rhythm Doctor
Gloomwood

>liked
Ghostrunner
30xx
Pull Stay

>Meh
Destroy all humans
Shady knight

Branch out into arpgs and play grim dawn, diablo 2, and path of exile

Rift Wizard is a pretty fun roguelike. An actual rogue type game not the meme definition. Your only attack is through spells and you can learn them at any time from spell orbs you pick up in levels. You get a ton of different things like minion summoning, traps, beams, etc so you can make some pretty cool builds. Probably worth picking up for a few bucks if you like this kind of game.

I want shooters man, I've played ARPGs to death already, even the niche ones like Last Epoch

I can only think of one but I don't think it's very good, fucking hellgate London. I can't remember if people hated it or liked it

I tried that Fire Emblem clone Rise Eterna and dear fucking god why can't japs into fun turn-based combat?
Combat is so fucking dull its crazy that FE became so popular.
I guess I should have expected that since I'm familiar with iconic JRPG combat where you just click on enemies until they die.
What a load of steaming dogshit

Play Fae Tactics instead

I expected a lot more myself. What was even the point of showing your partner on the combat screen when they were adjacent to you? It seemed to have no bearing on anything.

Moncage is comfty as fuck and the concept is super clever, but I don't see how they can make an entire game out of it without it getting incredibly boring. It's a great concept, but it's really just the same thing over and over. I absolutely recommend everyone to check out the demo, but I don't know if I'll even bother with the full version.

Most of the shooters in the festival are total ass. The only one I liked was Ultrakill and that doesn't fit your looter-shooter requirement.

From the demos I've played:
>will definitely buy on release even without a sale
Carrion
Kaze and the Wild Masks
Rhythm Doctor
ULTRAKILL
>wishlisted to buy on sale at the first big opportunity
Coromon
Cyber Hook
Fae Tactics
Kill It With Fire
Riftbreaker
Starmancer
>eternal (maybe) wishlist limbo
Creeper World 4
Cris Tales
Destroy All Humans
Everhood
Ghostrunner
Gloomwood
Golden Light
Jumpala
Just Die Already
Monster Crown
Paperball
Patrick's Parabox
PokeyPoke
Red Solstice 2
Shady Knight
Space Otter Charlie
Super Mombo Quest
WaveCrash
>dropped for whatever reason (jank demo, not my taste, I'm shit at the game, etc.)
Aeolis Tournament, Ageless, Bot Rods, CONSCRIPT, Crumble, Desperados III, Fights in Tight Spaces, Grounded, HROT, INMOST, Little Witch Nobeta, Pull Stay, Pumpkin Jack, SkateBIRD, Vigil: The Longest Night, Windjammers 2

I hope they commit to doing this annually. Rhythm Doctor and Ultrakill are especially fun and without the demos I probably would've never considered them.
