Review bombing doesn’t exis-

They are (not even memeing) an smaller part of the game than in the first one (not like there were a lot on that already).
There are 2 spots that i remember where zombies/infected are used as plot devices but on the game itself they are pretty damn scarce.

But also these kind of numbers give the developer that defense "we are just getting reviewbombed by incels" while if the game had a similar number of reviews as other similar games but with a bigger dislike ratio then that might be harder to spin.

I never understood this "argument", pretty much every single zombie story ever is about the humans experience DURING/ AFTER the zombie apocalypse, not about the zombies themselves which, as mindless monters they always are, they end as things to kill between the drama.

its kind of dumb in context though because the first game was about a cure, and in this one the zombies and the cure are so unimportant one of the characters nearly destroys the means to a cure despite her motivation coming from avenging a man who was killed trying to get said cure

I'm glad that it really shows how little Neil had to do with the story in the first game. The writing in TLOU2 is much more similar (in both style and quality) to the writing in Uncharted 4.

Then again her father's first idea to get that cure was to kill the host and dig on her brain without having absolutely no idea what he would fine or trying anything else before.
So maybe we shouldnt be expecting characters to act logically.

Here’s my review it’s not about TLOU 2 it’s about my newly purchased 1998 Honda Civic. It’s a great car you know. Sure it smells like piss, there are stains from who knows what and it’s very uncomfortable and not very ergonomic drive. I can’t say anything bad about it but it would be much improved if I didn’t have to drive it when I needed to reach a destination. 10/10

I can't wait to wait 5 years to play it on the PS5 for a nickle just like I did with the first game and the PS4.

Naw the first game was alright for the 5 bucks I paid for it. In fact, most games are fun if you get them for cheap or free.

I played the first one while catsitting for my sister in law over a week.

Review bombing is what shitty devs call it when their game gets a lot of reviews they disagree with.

They're going to say that regardless and the gaming media will repeat it with no caveats or criticism. Don't try to play optics against people who control the optics.

Yeah.
I find the primary thing that makes these games hard to criticize is that the actual gameplay is fun for the most part, but the story is what bogs it down when most people don't even mention the gameplay and just talk about the lame "The Road" rip off story and the miswriting of Ellie.
From a technical standpoint TLOU2 (from what I've seen) is amazing, the gameplay is like the first one, it's just the lame story and writing that makes it suck. It's contradictory to a lot of common beliefs regarding story in games.
Not to mention all the "it's mature" shit floating around it.
I do want to play it because I am curious about everything, but I don't because I know I won't really like it.
