You will eventually conplete the entire skill system with every character if you're aiming for 100%, otherwise its pretty straightforward. Until that point certain characters perform specific rolls in battle that are pretty set in stone. Exparement with switching out ppl in your party because you'll do it a lot. Game actually opens up at a place called The Calm Lands and its on rails until that, so dont worry about missing stuff. At that point you probably want to look up a guide on how to grind if you're prepping for secret bosses. The blue haired freak is weak to Bio, remember that.

Why is he such a crybaby?

It was pretty easy once you figure it out. I fought most of the random encounters along the way and typically leveled up enough to beat the bosses. Only had to grind a few times to get a level up and in those cases I basically ended up steam rolling the boss. The biggest tip is to find all the hidden treasure chests in the puzzle rooms as you're going through. I also got all the aeons and got Yuna's spiritual weapon before reaching Sin and it was almost too easy

9 was the best Final Fantasy game. Tactics was the best game with Final Fantasy in it's name.

FFX was the last mainline FF developed by Square before the Enix merger.

Kimahri is pretty useless overall but send him down to Rikku's sphere grid area if you want to get steal/use early on. As for blitzball it can be cheesed by scoring one goal and then getting the ball again and hiding behind your goalie.

Teedus, Wakka and Rikku are the only character that can swim so make sure to keep all three of them leveled. Yuna can become a better Lulu if you dip into black magic and her aeons can soak up hits when things are getting too hot.

I did that in like 30 minutes. By far one of the least frustrating trophies to get.

Ivalice is one of the dullest settings in the franchise.

Only time I ever grinded was during the Gagazet/Zanarakand stretch for Flux and Zombie Lady

Save before you go on the ship from Kilika to Luca, since there's a minigame there giving you a blitzball move if you don't fuck it up.

Once you understand the basic rules and get rid of the initial team, it's easy. The forced match is hard but can be cheesed, reward is something you can farm later on. Also needed for one of the best character's ultimate weapon. You can cheese it if you don't enjoy it but it's fun

I just found out about the bio cheese for flux.

News to me, I've only ever done the aeon overdrive spam. I only grinded up Yuna so Bahamut's overdrive could do close to 20k damage

Yeah Flux goes down fast if you hit it with Bio.

FFT as an SRPG was terrible, though. Legitimately worse than FE.

FF IX was the comfiest FF.
FF Tactics had the best gameplay of any FF.
FFVIII was the gayest FF.
FFVII was the most emo FF.

FFX was enjoyable, but is not the "most" ANYTHING of the FF franchise.

I'm playing it for the first time in like 15 years. It is really this fucking short? I'm able to go anywhere with the airship, but you can go right to Sin. I swear there was still half a game left when you get the airship when I originally played, maybe I'm just remembering the optional shit too much.
