What was your last "nah fuck this, I'm done with this game"?

What was your last "nah fuck this, I'm done with this game"?

Pic related. Because what I want from my space sims are long tedious instant death stealth sections!

Why do devs do this?

It gets better, for the ending you need to rush through that area
There's also the fact that keyboard controls don't let you sneak past

Enter the Gungeon. It's just too punishing, I feel no motivation to hop back in.

what game?

Serpentine nigga serpentine

Outer Worlds

Outer Wilds

how bad are you

you don't need to rush, you should have plenty of time

Inner Tames

Going over 1 bar of thrust means instant death, didn't try that many times but after dying after spending 5 minutes slowly drifting because I fucked up an adjustment (different between the thrust levels on my joypad is miniscule). I can't be bother to git gud, it's shit.

how do so many people have hotshot but so few have the easy achievements?

Most people are too dumb to figure out how to actually get to the sun station

I don't know why yours says 7.1% when the Steam page says 0.7%

Filtered

It's okay if you got filtered, OP.
Feldspar's little camp is fucking cosy, though. I like the sound of his harmonica.
But I have a question - the Hearthian astronauts all carried seeds from Timber Hearth to make the breathable trees, etc, and they spring up really quickly. I know it's likely just a way to make sure they can stay put for the whole time but I wonder if the Timber Hearth seeds might be as prolific as the Bramble Hollow seeds.

You're supposed to let the momentum carry you, just stop using your engines

the Bramble seed on Timberheart spread MUCH more quickly so it's unlikely. And Timberheart seeds don't have the timespace fuckery of Bramble seeds

I didn't even know that was possible

Exterior Planetes.

Thought that might be the case, as they are very localised on whatever planet they're on.
Do the anglerfish come with the Bramble or are they drawn to it? I can't remember if they're explained since almost anything that goes in there doesn't come back out. Plus there's the skeleton on the Ember Twin, and notes about that.

Subnautica.

I don't really like what they did to Dark Bramble to be honest, the alpha version where you had to follow the power cable was more interesting

7% isn't a lot

The jack black strategy game... fuck that mess.

Use your scout to check if a light is an anglerfish, if it is then just drive around it. And if you can't use your scout then what you do is go full speed when you're far away, then stop and slowly drift past it. A bit after you stop hearing them breathe is a generally safe distance to slowly start moving again. Getting out of your ship is for idiots.

7% of all players landing on sun station is alot for the game being out 3 days.

???
I do like that all the achievements are actually for doing something out of the ordinary rather than just "play the game lol

Starfield

It's impossible to know if there'll be bramble or what direction the anglerfish are facing so you usually need to adjust

I think one of the Nomai mention that is isn't from Ember Twin, but that begs the question of how it got there then. Maybe it was supposed to have come from the planet that used to be where Dark Bramble was and was sent hurtling through space like the Jellyfish. There isn't anything to support that. Who knows if they're even aquatic, and how would the skeleton get into the cave anyway

Assassins Creed Rogue. I didn't play it originally because I knew I wouldn't like it but it was on sale recently. Played it for about 3 hours and yeah basically AC3 with somehow worse controls. Shay is a complete retard when comes jumping to the ground instead of the branch directly in front of him. Trash game

>what direction the anglerfish are facing
literally doesn't matter

So long as you don't mind flying into their bodies...

Since there's the frozen jellyfish near Fledspar, maybe the anglerfish and jellies were from the same planet - the one that was swallowed by the Bramble? No real evidence to support it, I know, but it gives me the big thinks. Though honestly part of me never wants the answer because speculating is part of the fun.

castlevania 64

Just go fast lol

the jellyfish near Feldspar looks like it crashed into the ice chunk, although there is the ice chunk island with frozen jellies and vine-like structures on Giant's Deep

Pretty sure people tried that and failed before, it's like one of the first things people tried

you have to get a pretty huge run-up and will probably die but it's possible
