We'll never know what it was going to be used for :(

It’s for your dick

>tfw could have had the Vita be dockable to a TV
>playable with any PS3 controller
>years before the Switch did it
Sony fucked up.

why are you always thinking about dicks? no wonder your parents think you are gay

I just dug out mine to mod it and get sd2vita loaded. Neat little ststem but theirs not a damned thing I actually wanna play on it

I need to know

Do I need to mod/hack it to use sd2Vita?

I fear one day this expensive little shit memories will die killing the system altogether, but Im on the last OFW.

>pstv are actually expensive now
>didn't buy one when they were dirt cheap
feels bad man

Yeah, nobody ever made it so you could play a portable on your TV before the Switch

Soul Sacrifice Delta, Lumines Electronic Symphony, Dungeon Travelers 2-2, DJ MAX TECHNIKA TUNE, TxK, EDF2 fucker. Do it.

Not dock, but you could play PSP on TV with some cable.

Yes

It has the same use as the expansion port on the bottom of the NES

THUG2 Remix
It's for a external UMD Drive I'm sure.

oreshika
fw sucks dick

We're only gay for you

Just like this port on the Wii U gamepad.

Doesn't it use PCI or something? Or just a weird shaped USB?

Yes.
I need to dig out my vita, but I have a 1001 model which is the 3G capable vita. I believe that's where the sim card goes.

Attached: nanosim_640.0.jpg (1200x800, 89.52K)

Well, fuck.
Better buy some extra 32GB ones just in case.

It was probably for a tv out cable.

Bought two when they were $20 per unit. Feels good man.

That's the dock charging port is it not?

PSP also used to have a IR Blaster and nothing official used it aside from homebrew.

Real jelly user.
I thought I could buy them anytime, by the time I wanted one, and wanted it more for the DualShock3 than the Vita, they were already 150 a piece. Fuck.

wii u charging port is on top

My dad works at Nintendo and he tells me that he's being bullied at work.

bros...

It was unused due to the Wii U’s poor sales, but it would’ve been used with peripherals/accessories like in Pic Related

Based

Dont all consoles have retarded points?
Pretty sure I only used one of these to play GBA games on the TV

Attached: bottom.jpg (710x850, 88.98K)

It was supposed be used as a video out to plug it into a HDMI compatible display or something.

Fucking proprietary expansion ports. Just so they can sell you a basic bitch HDMI cable or serial port with their snowflake plug for their snowflake socket so no one else can money off their product while gouging their customer for functionality that should be an option right out of the box.

That's the joke. Also the GB Player and the PSP's component out

It is, but it also has a modified DS Lite charging port on top. So having a different, even more unique connector on the bottom only intended for charging from the beginning seems unlikely IMO.

the other port was used for phantasy star online

What's the little port next to the usb port on the PS5 for?

Wow, that looks totally safe for you 150 USD tablet, mandatory to operate your console.

Both were used tho. One was for a modem(used mainly by PSO games) the other for the GBA adapter.

the modem/lan adapter plugged into the other one
the back had an extra port for the component cables

pretty sure the gc used all its ports.

>make apps and games utilize all 4 cores
>overclock to 500MHz
Oh the potential

Fuck I wish vita had a monhun for it. Like 4u or gen.

Top left is GB Player. Bottom left is broadband adapter for LAN and PSO. I'm pretty sure bottom right was never used.

so the only thing keeping the gamepad "stable" is the port it's plugged into on that thing?

>2. Will it improve performance in games?
>- No, this plugin will not improve performance in games by itself. It only removes check that prevents games from using system-reserved core CPU affinity mask. Improving performance will be the task of the second plugin and config app that will be released soon.
so its useless in its current state

It's used to connect to your going into games machine, you do have one right user?

Holy fuck, the Vita had a SIM card slot? The future was then.

That's just an intention for the rollers on the charging dock.
Also makes it easier to hook up secure store displays

soon

It could play MHFU and I guess there's all the huntan clones

Anyone know if Soul Sacrifice Delta is active online or if it's at least fun solo? Toukiden is crossplay and yet it was beyond dead when I played it a few years back

Weeks ago I found Japs on Soul Sac Delta.
Maybe I was extremely lucky.

But, I found vanilla Soul Sac fun even solo, even platinumed it, but only played Delta for like 10 hours. Everything is improved on Delta, so I guess its at least fun.

Dunno about Toukiden, but I completed Freedom Wars last December and it had some people online. Guess all the Vita non-MH are still somewhat popular on Japan.

USB otg support soon with that port, just duct tape an external hdd to the back

>only ever gets used by pirates
Nothing personel kid

Attached: download.jpg (474x161, 26.75K)

Freedom Wars is pretty cheap and it's the first game I think about when I picture "Vita" in my mind. Might go for it

>Make the greatest handheld for years to come
>Hamstring it with proprietary memory storage
>Drop title support, only JRPGs and ports are sold
VITA was a golden goose and Sony gutted it to sell cheap meat.

If you press your tongue against it you get the taste of strawberries. I don't know if they had plans to use this in any game or add different flavors, but I liked to taste it whenever I was playing a game and my character was eating something, it really added to the immersion and it's a shame no games officially used it that way.

nvm, I'm an idiot.
I meant the paralleled port.

Attached: playstation 1 diferencias.jpg (1600x1010, 193.16K)

Its nice I guess, Getting the best weapon requires lots of autism though, and RNG shenanigans / reload / retry / etc.
At least the thorn chain is an original concept, never gets old.

Isn't the guy that made the n64 emu making a dreamcast one? How's that going?

Yep. It should have a little tray to hold it, but no one has one anymore because no one uses it anymore except weirdos so they've all been lost. Should be able to get a replacement tray if you need one for some reason, though.

Anyway, that's not the sim card slot. It's an accessories/transfer port.

Attached: 800px-PlayStation_Vita_Layout.svg.png (800x239, 83.15K)

thats the av port you dumb nigger. the parallel port on the far left, past the serial port, is what they used

You're on 3.73? It's not impossible to hack. It's just a tad tricky. This website is an excellent guide to get your started and goes over how to install SD2VITA.

vita.hacks.guide/get-started.html

can i see your buyyhole

...

even had a data plan with a carrier partnership at the time. i think it was at&t?

>golden goose
lmao even the 3DS sold half as much the DS sold
they fucked up for sure but it would have sold 30M tops with SD cards and better games

wtf bro i just licked my vita and now i have aids it did taste of strawberries though

dont care, your fuckup will be my focus
