You cannot tell me with a straight face the fusion system was better in 3. It was definitely an experience planning on how to build your fodder so your end target Persona would have a smaller chance of inheriting trash skills, but that shit was a goddamn nightmare.

Persona 4 had the best/comfiest atmosphere and fixed everything wrong with Persona 3 mechanics and gameplay wise. Persona 5 has the slickest presentation and best gameplay in the series, but probably the worst writing of all three. Persona 3 has the best story themes and soundtrack minus the annoying ass BABYBABYBABY battle music, but my word does the Tatrtarus suck ass and the mechanics/gameplay drag it down (AI party, you can get "sick"/tired from going to Tartarus at night, etc.)

I hope they remake Persona 3 either as a full on remake or a mixture of the best parts of FES and Portable that fixes most of the issues while still retaining a decent presentation.

Knowing the killer is just one part of the story and honestly, most Persona games are all about what happens along the way than reaching the outcome. And like all Persona games, there is a bigger force at play besides just knowing the killer...

P3 was the most novel out of the 3. It was so different from every other jrpg I'd played at the time when it was released. I think P4 had the better character development with the team the story however not so much, While P5 made some improvements to gameplay I feel as though it regressed in some areas the quests are the worse in P5. and the comfy high school feel is gone.
