I literally bought this just because I fucking hate Gamers and want to support video game companies that also really fucking hate Gamers.

It also seems to be a really good game. I just wish hdr didnt suck, everything just looks overblown compared to very dark tones in sdr, even on a properly calibrated lg c9.

Uniquely bad yes. The reason it doesn't work for normal and intelligent people is because they cut together the story in a way that it's impossible to work. They could have structured the game differently to have a very mediocre by the numbers passable story of REVENGE BAD. But as it is the story just does not work.
