Which was the better sequel?

Infinite had a step-down in gameplay mechanics but was still overall fun to play outside of a few bullshit parts, story was acceptable

TLOU2 is more or less the same thing but with horrible story that insults the fans. for me personally the setting of Infinite is enough to put it way over TLOU2

The story is shit, and the shooting was dumbed down. Why the fuck could you only hold two guns but upgrading them was still important? Not to mention that because of bullet sponge enemies you had to switch out to a shittier not upgraded gun if you ran out of ammo.

All that said, Infinite is a way more fun and creative game than TLOU2 despite the better gameplay fo the latter, by simply actually being a game and not some 30% game 70% cutscene/walking sim.

Bioshock:Infinite. It's not a great game but it's still better than this dumpster fire named TLOU 2.

Most normal players outside of Zig Forums actually liked Infinite. Not true for the last of us which is getting panned across the board by all audiences. Infinite was only hated by a few niche reviewers like Matthewmatosis.
I haven't played the last of us 2 (and never will probably) but it's getting hated on WAAAY more than infinite ever did. It also looks like it has less artistic merit than Infinite actually does have, what with its fantastic atmosphere that really only other shock games can compete with.

Don't feel too bad. That response was from a psued. As someone who studies engineering and has learned about quantum mechanics for chemical and materials engineering purposes, it's pretty banal/boring stuff if you actually study it, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with using pulpy alternate universes storytelling for a fantasy game like infinite. There are issues with Ken Levine's storytelling, but his high fantasy games don't need to have """""accurate""""" science to them LMAO.
