Are the combos for Under Night as absolutely insane as they appear to be? I wouldn't have a problem learning them, I just don't think I'd enjoy how extensive they look. Otherwise the characters for unist look really cool.

Daigo started with Vsav but he's aexpressed disdain for it at times. I remember him saying something like how Sasquatch really killed his motivation to stay with the game. I would say, even though retired, Sako is really the face of vsav and the best player to ever touch the game.
As for a new one I really doubt it could do the series justice. As long as figthcade and such exists vsav will always be enough.

He isn't though. The only people who take him seriously when it comes to fighting games are the people that don't actually play fighting games but just like watching him because of his personality. He's never been a big competitive player and doesn't even commentate during events or tournaments.

The rumors are absolutely true for PC. It might work a lot better when it works than PS but it's exceedingly worse when it doesn't want to cooperate, which is often the case.
Depends on the character. As long as you're not looking at the high-execution characters like Yuzu or Seth, it's relatively simple to get a hang of at a base level before you eventually move on to more optimal and complicated shit. I'd consider Blazblue combos to be tougher
