Literally no point in playing on anything other than what the developer intented, normal.
Difficulty options
Imagine needing validation so hard you need to tell others they should play on Normal too.
It's okay to be bad at vidya, OP
no, he's right
it's called normal for a reason
Seething normalfag.
>it's called normal for a reason
Because it's for normalfags, and normalfags are retarded. 100 IQ is basically braindead.
If you're on Zig Forums on the video game board you should be abnormally good at video games.
Beat vanilla on hard, got till after Kanji with Very Hard in P4G and restarted to play on hard since the exp rate is just fucking stupid. If I replay it for a third time for the PC version, I'll just go on very easy or atleast do something where exp isn't tedious. The games combats really not worth that fucking grind, the only people who think otherwise are try hards who want "hardcore gamer cred" or some stupid shit like that.
you.... actually play video games...?
>you should be abnormally good at videogames.
Says who?
Hard is what the developers intended to make as well. They intended to make a more challenging version for those who want a challenge. Its okay if you don't want a challenge user.Normal is what they think the average gamer is capable of, its okay to be average.
normal with extra xp masterrace
>Zig Forums tells me to pick the highest difficulty setting for P5
>enemies can one-shot you
>but you can also one-shot them even with weak skills
That's retarded.
Your own sense of pride if you weren't the living embodiment of onions.
Based, anything above normal is artificial difficulty
Playing on hard is too fucking hard. The bosses will 100% fuck you up and its much harder to grind to make things easier. RPG's have no business having difficulty options, you get stronger through grinding not through actual skill so why bother?
>challenge
>jrpg
>atlus rpg
you're all faggots
In JRPG games increasing the difficulty just means you have to grind way more than necessary. I just go with Normal and call it a day.
>Very Hard in P4G and restarted to play on hard
>he tried to beat this mode at the same level as he did on hard
heh, filtered.
>being such a low-test zoomboi cuck that you need a validation from a VIDEO GAME that you are good at it, so you play it on hard
lmao, imagine your life being dependant on that if you are good at fucking video games
Based, fuck grinding
>the developer intended for you to play on normal
Source?
>insecure to the point that he HAS to be good at everything he does
>can't even consume entertainment without worrying he is 'doing it wrong'
You are in no position to call anyone else snoy.
Too easy, would get bored.
>can't enjoy a challenge above normal
>prefers what the developer intended the difficulty should be for CHILDREN
>artificial difficulty
Again with this meme
Its just lazy difficulty, idiot.
Play it on V. Hard. Don't be a pussy.
>HAS
I just am.
Sorry, if saying "I am of average intelligence" isn't something that makes you sick to your stomach, you're not a person I can respect. Just another NPC.
And maybe don't make threads not only coping about being a shitter but trying to shame people for playing at higher skill levels than you by saying they're not playing it the intended way if you want to use "a-at least i'm not insecure" as a defense.
Whoa, if everyone here was meant to be abnormally good at video games, they should all be on pro teams.
No, dumbass. believe it or not, even here on Zig Forums people sometimes just want to have an experience. I've heard a tale or two here of legitimately disabled gamers, mentally and physically, so they play lower difficulties to compensate.
Depends on the game really
Something like Dragon Quest is really fun on higher difficulty, since its less about grinding and rnging yourself through fights and more about knowing your shit.
>dumbass
Stop using ableist slurs on Zig Forums, thank you.
For people who actually want to want to grind and be required to use strategy and plan out their ability sets and equipment. If you've played half a dozen SMT games, normal is too braindead.
>they should all be on pro teams.
What the fuck? No. Being good at vidya doesn't suddenly magically mean you want to be on a team or to do it for a living.
I play on very easy. I fucking hate grinding. I don't give a shit what anyone thinks
Go kill yourself
Fuck REmake HD’s difficulty options, why isn’t hard an option at the beginning. Instead, people will think they’re picking normal when it’s actually easy. I also hate that it goes from normal to easy to very easy, instead of the other way around. They should’ve just been labeled normally, instead of the hiking metaphors to make sure people knew what they were playing on.
>there's nothing in between being literally retarded and a top pro
>everyone skilled enough to be a pro wants to play competitively
you really are disabled
normal is still easy though lmfao are you a casual, OP?
Yes, that's totally what i meant, great job.
>should be on pro teams
>>wait but i didn't mean they should be on pro teams
I see.
normal isn't always the intended mode to play. halo's intended mode is heroic.
no one here fuckin plays video games
So no detraction against the actual point of my post? Got it.
Didn't even get to the "actual point of [your] post" because the first sentence was so fucking stupid.
Yes normal is what the developers intended.
But what if you want a challenge during your first or second playthrough, what if you want a more relaxed experience depending on your mood, without having to pick another game?
That's what those other difficulty options are for, and there is nothing that makes them less relevant than Normal.
Even better if the game lets you switch difficulties on the go without having to start a new game.
>Yes normal is what the developers intended.
source?
People on Zig Forums are neither good at video games, nor do they play them. Are you a retard?
video games?
What if everyone was forced to play on journalist mode? Then what would you say? You better think twice before you reach for the monkey's paw.
Quake 1 manual states that Hard difficulty is what the developers intended.
Normal in this game is boring as fuck, Hard ia where it's at.
Ok user, what difficulty should I play and why?
Thanks for the laugh.
How can you type that with such a serious attitude?
>I am very smart
>if you don't have your head up your ass, you are a coping npc
I tip my hat to you, sir.
>but you are shaming me for playing higher difficulties
I'm not OP. I just thought your post was absolutely ridiculous.
People here have one thing in common: an interest in japan/anime. There is absolutely no reason to believe that this would make one any better at videogames, yet you made an embarrassing assertion while also revealing some odd sore spot about playing on other difficulties.
Why you think anyone would care about being bad at a game of all things is beyond me. How invested are you in entertainment you play to think this?
A bunch of them flat out say it in the description of the difficulty.
C'mon user, you play games right? You have encountered this many times.
>playing Persona
No thanks, faggot.
Persona 4 Golden is one of the shittiest fucking games I've ever played.
There's not a single element that's remotely interesting, the 'Mystery' is fucking boring and stupid and the actual battle mechanics are so watered down and easy it's fucking abysmal.
Zig Forums needs to stop shilling for this fucking shit tier game.
Thanks reddit,
your opinion
has been
noted.
This is a jap game, user, Hard is supposed to be the intended difficulty.
>very easy - journalist mode
>easy - streamer mode
>normal - american mode
>hard - normal mode
>very hard - hard mode
Carry on crying into your Vita pretending you had that kind of social life faggot
>european extreme - speedrun/I love this game so fucking much and its mechanics holy shit
>he does not fight the first dungeon boss at lvl80+
What a fucking pleb.
This but with also more money
