I’ve been reading Berserk during lockdown and I’m craving a game with a similar vibe. What are the closest approximations?
So far:
>Dragons Dogma
>Dark Souls
>Drakengard
>Final Fantasy Tactics
>Cooking Mama
>The Witcher
Did I miss any?

Fuck it, I'll bite: how?
berserk for ps2
Just play the official Berserk games bro
You could try the two Berserk games if you have a PC good enough to emulate them (or original hardware). One is on the PS2 and the other is on the Dreamcast. They're both pretty decent mindless arcadey fun. I'd also unironically recommend the original Doom if you like the feeling of being one man against a demonic horde, in particular a WAD called Alien Vendetta.
*CLANG*
>Valkyrie Profile
>There's also the Berserk: Band of the Hawk game but be forewarned it's shit

Skull and Bones by ubisoft (if you're not in the alpha/beta just give up hope though, it's been reworked dozens of times and is soon to be cancelled)
Exquisite.
I don't think it's that shit, it's just a generic musou game. You have to know it is, and set your expectations accordingly.
>Games like Berserk?
Rape Day

Although it's definitely true to its core
It might sound a bit odd, but Gears of War 1 reminded me of Berserk when I last played it. I reread some of my favorite parts after playing it. Maybe it's just me.
Literally any generic JRPG
>>Final Fantasy Tactics
Man, that's stretching it. Dark fantasy setting and the Lucavi are all it takes to say they're similar? Cooking Mama's CLANG is a better set of dots to connect, honestly.
kek
it's been forever since I've seen any bag edits
>want to reread Berserk
>some fucking niggers broke into my car and stole my tablet

But Donovan paid.
