PC Lobby when?

Whenever someone makes it because you're all weird

I should really learn that 3C > 22A combo

>Lond Mirrors featuring j3[B] vs. 66C

Oh yeah, it's Gords birthday
I'm going to miss the glowing eye

Its pretty much my go to combo from 5a

Speaking of Gord are you supposed to do anything other than spam 5C and 236A i’m neutral all the time? I just started noodling around with him today.

FF someone's face if they dare to throw a projectile at you but that only applies to certain match-ups.
It's also a relatively decent AA if people are in assault range since you can combo off it on airborne opponents now
If you have resources, throw out 623B if your opponents like to jump and press buttons a lot.

Whoops, hit the wrong macro

I didn't mean to Batista fuck

Too many drops, dang. Red lasted longer than anticipated

Can anyone tell me how Anti Air OS works? Like do I input grab before or after I press my Anti Air button?

You basically press three buttons like ACD at once and if the opponent grabs, you'll tech and if they don't, you'll AA

>Imagine reacting to overheads in 5f
Maybe one day but definitely not today

PC's up. I'll hang around for a bit.

How full is each lobby tonight?

6 people in PSN

I wish this game has rollback.

Ah I see thanks for the info, I've been doing it wrong this whole time then.

How full is PC?

It's just me right now.

bump

I hate that I'm stiff now with my Merkava.

Considering getting UNI from the steam summer sale but have some concerns. I've heard it's a discord fighter, which I have experience with and don't mind, but that the community and netcode for it are abysmal. Is it really worth it if I normally find it tough to stick with anime fighters?

Will be there in a minute

First big question, are you NA
Second big question, which coast are you
It's definitely a discord fighter but these threads aren't' associated with those types.

Do you think playing with random players will encourage you to stick with the game? I think finding a regular group of people to play with is more desirable.

Funny enough the game lives up to it's name. I mostly play online at night and majority of the players come out around that time. It's a fun fighter, I've had luck finding matches without relying on discord.

At least when the whole quarantine thing started up during February and March, I had a ton of ranked games throughout the day

GGs PSN
Gonna swap off

Oh shit I didn't realize I'm a red square now. Im not ready for this rank yet.

The discord community is a bunch of circle jerking and meme spouting faggots. I honestly like playing with the Zig Forums lads. Outside of the character resources stay away from that place.

Yes, in NA and am midwest. I know these threads are just more casual play which is cool, just was curious on your guy's experience with this game.
I don't mind random players to much, it's more just I have heard the UNI community is kind of annoying to deal with from circles online. I have experience dealing with dumbasses on discord, I'm just wondering if that'll be a majority of my time searching for games.
That's good to hear, I'm a night player myself.

Thanks guys. Been watching gameplay of the character I'm planning to play, Gordeau, and this looks more tolerable then most anime fighting games. I'm not expecting "anime street fighter" but this looks like it has a nice faster pace but still some sense of neutral and footsies while not being too complex for my pea brain like GG was.

Well if you play here alot you can avoid obnoxious players if that's an issue. These threads are up 5 times a week.

PC usually has a good amount of people willing to play too as long as somebody throws a room up.

Do these threads have a schedule or anything? I would be cool with playing with Zig Forums if they're okay wailing on a beginner. I mostly play older poverty games, been wanting something modern and "active" to play and this caught my interest. Tried stuff like SFV, felt off and stiff to me, and GG, was too complex to me, and this seems like a nice medium.

>just more casual play which is cool
A good number of us compete, one of us even killed a japanese arcade player.
And if you're NA midwest, you should be ok but I won't make any promises about PC quality

Sunday to Thursday, 11:30 to 3 Central Time.

Sorry, I didn't mean casual as in "guys not knowing the game", just more chill in general. I admire the UNIfags here since they at least seem to actually play a fighting game, more then can be said for most of Zig Forums.

>The discord community is a bunch of circle jerking and meme spouting faggots
The sad thing is it's so bad even the mods fucking hate most of the people in the discord. Not to mention because it's all the active strong / known players everybody else seems to suck up to try and become their groupie. Just use the discord strictly for resources and to ask an occasional question in the character channels but that's it.

you guys have any decent beginner combos for nana/elt/linne?
gonna be spending some time teaching my friend the game for the next little bit

play this game in europe you assholes
i want to play but it's dead here

Have you tried dustloop user?

Dustloop is uniel era stuff for this series
Mizuumi and discord have the frame data
Can't your friend try out the mission mode? Instead of being Blazblue tier circumstantial, the mission mode for this game's actually pretty applicable

I'm not moving to Europe

Easy beginner combo for Linne would be something like 2C > 5C > jump cancel > j.B > j.C > j.2B > 2C > 6CC(C if they're near a corner).

Once you get that down you can change up the beginning alittle it and go 5C > 2C > 214BC > jump cancel > j.B > j.C > j.2B > 2C > 6CC(C).

I'd recommend starting with these two if they're just getting started with the game.

Nanase mission mode 4-2 (?) is good. It holds a core component for a majority of her combos.
Something like:
236BC > j.[C] > j.2[C] > d.j236A > (land) > j.A > j.8C > j.5BB > j.2C > 2C > 214BA

If he can't do that he probably won't be able to play Nana

The online is spotty at times due to being delay based. French Bread made some noise about interest in implementing GGPO rollback, but time will tell if they go forward on that.

Wait, so is there no good guide for learning this game?

There's tons of them user. An overwhelming amount of them, actually.
