How you guys liking it so far? I told myself I was gonna play the first one before starting this but I never got around to it.
First thing I noticed is how fucking clunky the platforming is. I can appreciate Lindroth wanting his environments to have more depth but christ it took me forever just to get the fucking banana in the first city. Don't even get me started on the mini game in the first area, I fucking suck at 2D platformers too. I just beat the Worm (2nd Boss) and honestly the combat's as fun as ever. I wish I knew what all the status effects did, but I've been managing. Soundtrack is fantastic as well.
Has the ost been posted anywhere? I really like the music that plays when you fly the airship.
Jacob Morris
I remember someone posted a roughly 45 minute long video of a double-loop of some of the tracks ripped from the beta that was released two or three weeks before the official release. It got taken down in like a week. The boss theme was on youtube until today, it just got privated. I'm thinking Lindroth wants to release an OST for purchase and potentially put it on Spotify. It sucks because he nuked a lot of tracks from the first game on YT as well.

bump
Ayden Miller
it's out?

What did they do to my man Pongorma?
Came out June 22.
Grayson White
he got a new helmet

Everybody is saying it's janky as hell, I think I'll wait for a few patches before playing it
Connor Allen
Yeah, the platforming is bad. Took me some time to get used to it and sometimes Wayne decides that he's not going to jump. That can me frustrating. Mason should give a player the ability to turn off the collision objects that are on the ground and make it nice and smooth, I would prefer clipping over this shit. Combat is good, seems that many enemies are unique and require different approach, but I would appreciate if there was a run button or at least access to the menu during battles, sometimes I already know I've lost(for example thanks to the self replicating fuck) and I just can't load the game, I have to wait for them to murder me.
Jonathan Torres
The jank is just kind of inherent, I don’t see how he could fix it other than having some kind of indicator of where Wayne is in relation to the ground while in the air at all times. Its just a penalty of Lindroth’s style, its hard to define boundaries.
Josiah Cook
I thought I saw a flee button in the settings.
Adrian Hill
You buy this game really for the art not the platforming. Yes, Mason's first meddling with something that is not a rpg maker did not end perfectly, but honestly what can you expect, it probably won't get fixed, but I'm okay with that.
Adrian Ramirez
Really? I have to check that out, thanks
Camden Nelson
Bump for awesome gaem.
Eli Stewart
visuals and soundtrack are great as expected, but yeah, the controls are kinda wonky
I feel like the game would benefit greatly from full 360 movement
I never buy games before completing them. Got fucked too many times as a teen
Owen Kelly
What's the verdict on Dedusmuln, big horns covering a mostly normal face or just an abstract horn face?
Camden Morales
i would fiend, but paypal doesnt work here
Jack Ramirez
steam reviews all say that the art style and feel and still great but that the platforming is complete ass and battles are padded out due to enemies healing a lot. is this true? obviously most people aren't really playing for the gameplay, but if it detracts too much then i might wait for a patch or something before i buy
William Mitchell
this, I would buy it but EVERYONE is complaining about the gameplay Right now I'd settle for a torrent. then I'd buy it if it deserves it
Isaiah Gray
i can forgive fucked platforming, but the combat difficulty level was fine in the last game, there was no reason to pad it out into a slog
Adrian Jenkins
Is there real, meaningful, intentional dialogue in this game? The procedurally generated lines are why I skipped 1. RPGs are about characters first and foremost, and that's not character writing.
Xavier Campbell
>characters lmao what are you on about
Dylan Jenkins
Go back to Twitter.

Well, it's definitely better than Clowder's total breakdown into genuine insanity that was Where They Cremate the Roadkill.
